Who is your favorite Star Wars character?
Riho - My favorite is young Annakin Skywalker. He was so cute.
Tess LaCoyle - That's easy, Boba Fett. Who doesn't like a bounty hunter with his own ship?
Hiroyo Matsumoto - I like Chewbacca. He's big and strong and flies a cool ship. And all that hair mmmmmmmm
Mia Martinez - Is that the tv show with the guy with pointy ears? Spork?
Ramu Endo - I liked Padme Amidala. She was a beautiful young queen who fell in love with a handsome young man. Sorta like me.... except for the part where the handsome young man goes bad.
Martini Ip - This is gonna sound strange. I liked Jar Jar Binks
Syuri - I like Han Solo. He's a good looking good guy with a bit of a bad boy streak.
Pegaboo - The Ewoks are like cute teddybears

Makoto's Hong Kong Makoto - Hello everyone, welcome back to Makoto's Hong Kong. Today, we're on the move again. For the past couple months, we have been putting on house shows in Macau. For those of you who don't know about Macau, it was a Portuguese colony that is now part of China again. It is only 65km from Hong Kong to Macau across the Pearl River estuary. Macau is most known for one thing, casinos. To get to Macau, there are dozens of fast ferries that make the trip 24hrs a day. Here we are at the Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal where we'll be getting on one of those sleek red catamarans. I'll see you on board Makoto - Here we are approaching Macau. Haruka - Cherry. Today's her birthday. I need to know how many candles or cherries to put on her cake.
Kimiko - I think she's said she was 18. So she'd be 19 now I'd guess.
Haruka - Is there anything in the personnel files?
Asami - She didn't tell us what year she was born when she signed up.
Haruka - I'll just get enough cherries to circle the top of the cake

JoshiPuroPride, a member promotion of professional wrestling's National Wrestling Alliance, based in Hong Kong is pleased to announce they have entered into a working arrangement with City University of Hong Kong.
JoshiPuroPride (JPP) was setablished in 2011 by local Businessman Adam Chen with assistance from the staff of a defunct wrestling promotion from Japan. JPP was able to sign the most talented women wrestlers in the world. JPP's weekly television show Athena Pro quickly became popular in Hong Kong and across the border into China.
City University of Hong Kong, established in 1984, has also experienced rapid growth in it's recent history. CityU has gained high rankings in several lists of universities worldwide. Two years ago, CityU proudly opened the state of the art Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre. The Creative Media Centre houses the Centre for Media Technology and the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology.
The agreement between JPP and CityU is a two part agreement. Firstly, up to 3 students from CityU will be offered internships with JPP to work in the media department and in television production. The second part of the agreement will allow CityU students to put their education to use as they help produce a weekly show for JPP. details of the show have yet to be determined.
JPP looks forward to a long successful partnership with CityU.

Keiko's Krib Keiko Mariko - Hi again everyone. Here I am, another week fatter. I just got off the airport express train at the airport to meet my mom; she's coming to visit for a few days. Mom's flight doesn't land for about 30 minutes, so let me update you about what's been going on. Remember last week when I told you about my craving for the salsa verde that Ramu's hubby makes. Well, that craving is gone. I've been reading 'What to Expect When You're Expecting'. It's a great book and diary to help a pregnant woman and her partner through the nine months of creation. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie that is losely based on the book. Ohhhh cool, there's a Ben & Jerry's here! I'd love some ice cream. What flavours do they have tonight? Coconut seven layer bar... never liked coconut, coffee coffee buzz buzz buzz! my doctor says I should avoid caffeine, chocolate chip cookie dough.... mmmmm that's the one. I'm gonna get a mini cup... nah make it a pint of that. Mmmmmmm, that was so good! Mom's flight landed a few minutes ago, she should be coming through customs now. Before you see me get all mushy, I'll say goodnight. |

If you could be on any TV reality or game show, what would it be?
Hiroyo Matsumoto - I'd love to be on 'Top Gear' and race around their track
Riho - I've watched every episode of 'The Amazing Race'. I'd love to be on there and race around the world.
Tess LaCoyle - I'd be on 'Dog The Bounty Hunter' so I could show everyone that he's no dog, he's a *BEEP*
Miguela Martinez - I should be on 'America's Next Top Model'.... as a judge so I can tell all those girls who dream of being like me that they're ugly.

After tonight's show in Macau, everyone is on board the ferry back to Hong Kong.
Riho takes an e-book out of her bag and turns it on.
Miyako Matsumoto - What game ya gonna play?
Riho - It's not a game system, it's an e-book.
Miyako - Cool. I've seen those but never tried one.
Riho - I got it from my school. We use these instead of textbooks
Miyako - I wish they had them when I was in school. We had to carry a bag full of heavy books every day. Do they only have books on them or is there magazines too?
Riho - There might be some magazines.
Miyako - But you wouldn't get the perfume strips or free cd's with an e-magazine
Riho - So that's what the smell from your room is.
Miyako - *giggles* guilty. Are you reading a book for school?
Riho - Just reading one for fun tonight. I downloaded the Hunger Games trilogy.
Miyako - I didn't know it was a book, thought it was just a movie.
Riho - I'll keep them on here if you wanna read them when I'm done school for the summer.
Miyako - That would be cool, thanks... I'll shut up and let you read.

A bunch of the girls are in Shenzhen for today's house show. Hiroyo Matsumoto heads down the hall to the small dressingroom she's sharing with Miyako Matsumoto and Hikaru Shida. She can hear music before she even opens the door.
Hiroyo - Do you have to listen to that garbage all the time?
Hikaru - We like it.
Hiroyo - It drives me nuts. At least put on some earphones.
Miyako - (lowers volume) How's that?
Hiroyo - Put in earphones or shut it OFF!
Hikaru - Whoa! Don't have to get mad about it, just have to ask.
Miyako takes earphones out of her bag and plug them into the iPod. She gives one to Hikaru while she keeps the other.

Hiren Stripped of Title
Early this morning, May 21, Hiren was arrested outside of a bar in Wan Chai. She has been charged with being intoxicated in public and lewd & lascivious behaviour. JPP has made the decision to strip Hiren of the New Territories Tiara. A match to determine a new champion will be announced soon.

While most of the girls are working out this afternoon, Yoshiko Tamura pulls LuFisto aside.
LuFisto - It was Pegaboo! She did it!
Yoshiko - She did what?
LuFisto - Whatever I'm being taken to the principal's office for.
Yoshiko - I don't know if you're serious or just kidding. Whatever Pegaboo did is up to you and her. I just want to talk about something.
Martini Ip is already in the small office.
LuFisto - Are you in trouble too?
Martini - I hope not. Ms tamura said she wanted me to meet someone.
LuFisto - Do I get to meet someone else too?
Yoshiko - You do. I was telling Martini how impressed everyone is with her work here in the dojo and in the ring. We feel she could learn more if she was teamed with someone with experience who could mentor her.
LuFisto - Who's her mentor going to be?
Yoshiko - Your sushi isn't wrapped too tight is it!
Martini - It would be an honor to team with you and learn from you.
LuFisto - Why am I here if you're going to team with Yoshiko?
Yoshiko - (lightly slaps LuFisto in the head) You're Martini's partner and mentor.
