Asami comes downstairs to the hotel banquet room for the complimentary breakfast buffet. She fills a plate with some fruit and a croissant. She sits at a table with Kimiko Toyota.

Kimiko: Good morning. Surprised to see you up so early.
Asami: I've always been an early riser.
Kimiko: Last night's show was great. The fans were loving it.
Asami: I could feel the energy, it was infectous. I'm glad I found you here this morning, I wanted to ask you about something.
Kimiko: What's up?
Asami: How's your web design degree going?
Kimiko: I'm just about done my final project. I'll present it to my instructors back in Tokyo on wednesday.
Asami: I've seen how much work you've been doing on it. The only time you're not working on your school work is when you're commentating or asleep.
Kimiko: I wanted to do the best I can.
Asami: That's why there's an offer I want to make you. We need a website and someone to coordinate all the various social and mainstream media. Would you like to be our website developer and media coordinator?
Kimiko: Would I still be doing color commentary?
Asami: Your other jobs would take up too much of your time. We'd like to get someone with in ring experience for color commentary. You'd be living here in Hong Kong; we have a duplex apartment we'll be moving into later this week.
Kimiko: So we'd be roomies?
Asami: There's lots of room, we'll work out who gets what room.
Kimiko: I'm very interested. What kind of salary offer is on the table?
Asami: Chen san and I discussed this. How does 6 million Yen a year sound?
Kimiko: I don't drive, so I'll need a transit pass.
Asami: That sounds reasonable. We can do that. Do you want the job?
Kimiko: We have a deal.
Asami: Great.

The sun is going down as Tess LaCoyle gets off the Star ferry and follows the signs to the Avenue of the Stars. She wanders along, looking at the various plaques, wondering who everyone is. She recognizes the statue of Bruce Lee.

Lin Bairon: He was a legend... about time you got here.
Tess: Hey, I'm new here. The streets here are so confusing. What did you want to see me about?
Lin: Wanted to show you where I want my plaque to be when they finally realize that I'm a star.
Tess: What about here by this Michelle Yeoh Choo Kheng chick's plaque?
Lin: You've gotta be kidding. She's the biggest fake and poser ever. I was in an extra in one of her movies and she got me fired because she cried that I kicked her too hard. I'd rather let my dog relieve herself on the plaque.
Tess: So what did you want to see the most electrifying wrestler in the world about?
Lin: If you've had a look at the JPP roster, you'll see that from the Commissioner on down to the little girls in the dojo, there's only two who aren't Japanese
Tess: It's that bad? Just you and me, the most electrifying wrestler in the world?
Lin: If we're gonna get anywhere in this company, we should work together. Watch out for eachother and maybe even tag up.
Tess: I've seen your work. I think we can do some damage and win some titles. So what should we call eachother?
Lin: You're the most electrifying wrestler in the world and I'm an action star. How does Electric Action sound?
Tess: Electric Action... I like that.
Lin: Cool! I'll be there on saturday to watch your back against Basara, she has friends. Let's go to the night market and do some shopping.

Bairon and LaCoyle look like they are going to be a force to be reckoned with. Your writing has also been improving a lot, as I see virtually no typos and it's all very smooth and coherent. Excellent stuff.

After signing all the necessary paperwork at the lawyer's office, Adam and Asami go the duplex apartment.

Asami: This is more spectacular than I remembered. You are too kind to us.
Adam: Anything for my girls. Let's make a list of what we'll need then we'll go to Ikea and get everything. I was thinking we could use the bedroom here on the main floor as the office for you and Kimiko and you'd share the bedroom right above it. The master bedroom and the other bedroom upstairs would be for the girls.
Asami: Would we be able to fit enough beds in there?
Adam: We could fit five bunkbeds in the master and three in the other bedroom.
Asami: What about the beds that are in the rooms already?
Adam: Ohhhh right. I forgot about those.
Asami: I've got an idea. How about those four beds go to our champions. The JPP Singles champion gets the queen size bed and the junior and tag champions each get one of the double beds.
Adam: That's a great idea. Besides wanting the title, the girls will be competing for the big beds.
Asami: We'll need linens for the beds, towels for the bathrooms, dishes and cooking utensils for the kitchen, and another table. Kimiko and I will need desks, chairs and storage for the office.
Adam: Let's get some lunch first then we'll go to Ikea. Speaking of eating, did you take my friend Bing up on his invitation?
Asami: was he serious? I thought he was just being polite.
Adam: I think he was a bit smitten by you.

Hong Kong airport

Adam is waiting by the baggage carousel as the girls come through customs. Most of the girls just have carryon bags. When the rest get their bags, Adam leads them out and to the shuttle bus.

Adam: Good to see you all again ladies. I have a surprise for you today.
Hamuko Hashi: You're gonna book me to win the tournament?
Mochi Miyagi: Why would they let you win, I'm gonna win!
Adam: No, the surprise has nothing to do with the tournament, but I do like your competitiveness. The surprise is that we're not going to the hotel. We're going to the duplex apartment I bought for all my girls. We'll order in some food when we get there. After we eat, we'll have some furniture to assemble and move around.
Madison Rayne: No way I'm assembling anything, it'll wreck my new manicure.
Hamuko: Bet I can assemble a bed faster than you.
Mochi: In your dreams. Just like your dreams of going farther in the tournament than me.
Hamuko: Wanna bet I can't?
Mochi: Why not, I know I'll win. How much are you gonna pay me?
Hamuko: I was thinking of something other than money.
Mochi: What else?
Hamuko: Whoever is out of the tournament first has to get her hair dyed.... PINK!
Mochi: PINK! That'll spoil my natural blond hair
Hiren: Oushikoso [bulls**t]

All the girls are sitting around the livingroom with Asami and Kimiko.

Asami: Thanks for helping us to set up everything last night and this morning. We completely forgot to get some small kitchen appliances and food. Before we go shopping, Kimiko has a few things to say.
Kimiko: Thanks Asami. If you didn't know yet, I'm not going to be doing color commentary anymore. Chen san and Asami have hired me as JPP's website developer and media coordinator. First thing I'll be doing is taking some pictures of everyone. I'll be doing some pictures out on the balcony and then some down in the workout room and pool in the clubhouse.
Asami: Now lets make lists of what we need in the way of food and small appliances.
Hiren: We'll need rice and a rice cooker.
Madison Rayne: If I have to spend any more time with all you squeeky trolls, I'll need some wine.
Asami: The company will not pay for any alcohol. You'll have to buy that yourself.
Madison: Cheepskates.

They spend about another 20 minutes making lists of what they need to buy.

Asami: Wow, those are quite the lists. Some of you can go with Kimiko to the supermarket just around the corner. Whoever wants to come with me, we're going to the Fortress store down in Causeway Bay to get the appliances.

Nerissa is in her tiny apartment watching some tv when there is a knock on the door. She gets up and answers.

Nerissa: Oh, hello Ray. Why are you all dressed up. You said you wanted to talk about tomorrow's show over dinner.
Ray: Actually, I just wanted to take you out for dinner. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear.
Nerissa: You're sweet. I'd like to go for dinner. Just let me change into something nicer first.
Ray: I'll wait in the hall while you change.
Nerissa: So shy and such a gentleman.

Ray waits in the hall while Nerissa gets changed. She comes out a few minutes later in a simple black dress and a coat. Ray offers her his elbow. They take the elevator down and walk out to the street. Ray waves for a cab. They get in the cab.

driver: Where to?
Ray: Jumbo Kingdom.

They engage in nervous small talk as the cabbie whisks them through the tunnel to Aberdeen. He drives along a few sides streets and pulls up at a pier. Ray and Nerissa walk down onto a gawdily decorated dock. Ray holds Nerissa's hand as she steps onto the sampan.



They sit beside eachother, waiting for the boat to leave. As they are waiting, Asami and an older man get on the sampan.

Asami: Nerissa? Ray? What are you two doing here?
Nerissa: Ray's taking me on a date.
Ray: We're just friends! We're just going to talk about tomorrow's show.
Asami: This is my new.... friend, Bing. He arranged the sale of the apartment for us.

The sampan pulls away from the dock and heads out towards the Jumbo Kingdom restaurant.

Asami is the first person awake in the apartment this morning. She quietly walks downstairs, goes into the kitchen and gets the coffee maker started. She then goes into the office and turns on her computer. She checks a few emails and then turns on Skype. She types in Ramu Endo's address.

*BEEP*
*BEEP*
*BEEP*

Ramu Endo appears on the screen

Ramu: Hello?
Asami: Hello Ramu chan, it's Asami Konno. Is this a good time to talk?
Ramu: Asami. You were Masami san's assistant in JPP weren't you?
Asami: I'm the Commissioner of the new JPP.
Ramu: Wow! Congratulations. How did you get my Skype address?
Asami: A young fan here in Hong Kong saw your Facebook post. He's a family friend of our new owner. So he asked Chen san if his friends Ramu and Keiko could work for JPP.
Ramu: *giggles* Must be By Nor. That little rascal.
Asami: Would you and Keiko be free to work on our new years eve show?
Keiko Mariko: (appearing over Ramu's shoulder) Hey Asami chan. Did I just hear you offer us a match?
Asami: I did. If things work out well, it could be a full time contract.
Ramu: We have family coming here for the holidays until the 29th. Would you be able to fly us to Hong Kong?
Asami: I'll make the reservations for return flights as soon as we're done on here. All you have to do is say yes.
Ramu: We'd love to come do a match for you. The return leg will have to be to Tokyo. Florida was interesting, but Japan is home.
Keiko: How much would you be paying us?
Asami: How does $1000 US each sound?
Keiko: That sounds like a deal.
Ramu: Just one more question. Are those Hello Kitty pajamas you're wearing?
Asami: *blush* They're comfortable

Hamuko Hoshi and Mochi Miyagi are late for this morning's training at the dojo, as usual. Despite being late, they decide to stop in at the local Don Quijote store to buy some makeup.



Mochi: So much great stuff here. I could shop here for hours.
Hamuko: I buy almost all the stuff I wear to the ring here.
Mochi: Cool here's the makeup aisle.
Hamuko: Look at all these new lipsticks and their only 100 Yen. I'm gonna get this one and this one and this one and this one and this oneand this one and this one.
Mochi: Wow! Eyelashes for only 150 Yen. They even have blonde eyelashes for natural blondes like us.
Mochi: look at all these eyeshadows too... four for 500 Yen. Cool, they have blue.

They finish loading up on makeup and try to find their way to the checkout. They turn a corner and see a rack of Christmas items.


both: OMG! We gotta get those
Mochi: We need to wear those in a match.
Hamuko: Nobody will know it's us.
Mochi: You know it *giggles*

After today's training session, several of the girls stop in at a nearby kaiten sushi restaurant


Britani Knight is sitting between Emi Sakura and Meiko Satomura.

Britani: This is cool. We don't have anything like this back home in Norwich.
Emi: If you see something you like, take the plate off the conveyor belt. They'll charge you by the number of plates you take.
Britani: This is fun. Do you know who we're fighting on saturday? The schedule says it's the Shibuya Elves, I've never heard of them.
Emi: Neither have I. Do you know who they are Meiko?
Meiko: Who?
Emi: The Shibuya Elves.
Meiko: Maybe it's two of the trainees from the dojo getting a tryout.
Emi: Could be.
Britani: Is there something going on with you two? I saw you'll be facing eachother on the 23rd and then tagging up on new years eve against those teens who are coming back.
Emi: Yeah, there is something going on. Those are going to be our last matches. We're both going to be retiring. All the travel is just too much.
Meiko: We both have opportunities to run our own dojos.
Emi: You'll do great on your own or you can find someone else to team up with while you're still with JPP.
Britani: You've shown me so much in the few weeks I've been here. You'll both be great sensei.... WHOA! what was in that sushi I just ate, it was so sour.
Emi: *giggles* That was natto
Britani: What's that?
Meiko: It's fermented soybeans
