Asami and Kimiko are working in the office after dinner. Asami turns on Skype.

Asami: Join me over here. I've asked Mariko and Ray to put together a list of juniors we may want to bring up to the main roster or sign to contracts. You've saw quite a few in action during your commentating days.
Kimiko: (sliding over) Ok, if you trust my opinion.

Mariko Yoshida and Ray Cassler appear on the screen.

Asami: Hello Mariko san and Ray chan.
Mariko: Hello Asami. Hi Kimiko, congratulations on your promotion.
Kimiko: Thank you.
Asami: Have the two of you discussed any junior trainees in the dojo we could bring up or any juniors out on the free agent circuit we could sign in time for the junior title tournament in February?
Mariko: I've been keeping an eye on the girls in the dojo. Most still need a lot of work before we should consider putting them on the main roster. However there is one I think could be ready by February.
Asami: Who?
Mariko: Riho. She may be younger than most of the girls but she works so hard and she has a natural charisma.
Asami: We'd have to get clearance for her to travel to Hong Kong. Is there any juniors on the free agent circuit that we could sign?
Ray: I've always kept an eye on joshi shows all over the country. There's a few juniors who have stood out to me. Natsuki*Taiyo is so talented and always gives the fans everything they expected. Miyako Matsumoto and Dash Chisako could be good for us.
Mariko: I'm not sure about Dash. In my opinion, she just doesn't have the it factor. She seems to be satisfied as a curtain jerker or midcarder.
Asami: Any others?
Ray: There are two others that I'm impressed with but have overly inflated opinions of their importance.
Kimiko: That sounds like Mia & Miguela Martinez. But didn't they quit wrestling?
Ray: They're still around.

Kimiko Toyota, Mochi Miyagi and Hamuko Hoshi have walked down to Times Square Mall in Causeway Bay. They look at the directory.

Mochi: Where can we find the hair dye for her?
Hamuko: You mean for you?
Mochi: I said "for you"
Kimiko: Pure Beauty by Watson's is probably the best place. I've picked up some makeup there earlier this week. It's two floors down.

They take the escalator down to the bottom floor and find Pure Beauty. They are greeted by a clerk right away.

clerk: welcome to Pure Beauty, may I help you find something?
Mochi: We need some hair dye for her.
Hamuko: It's actually for her!
clerk: Hair dye is in aisle 1 near the back. We have a wide range of colours.

They head to the back of aisle 1 and search through all the varieties of hair dye. Another clerk comes over.

clerk2: Are you looking for your shade of blonde?
Hamuko: She needs pink.
Mochi: Actually, she needs the pink.
clerk2: We don't have any pink dye here, but we do have some bright colours in our teen beauty section right around the corner. There may be some pink there. Follow me... Here they are, the Manic Panic dyes. We have cotton candy pink and hot hot pink.
Hamuko: We're hot hot babes, so it'll be hot hot pink.
Kimiko: One of you is gonna stick out so much!

Asami Konno and several of the girls arrive at Queen Elizabeth Stadium to set up the ring for tonight's show. A young Chinese woman is waiting by the doors.

woman: Ms Konno... Ms Konno!
Asami: Yes.
woman: My Name is Martini Ip, I'm a wrestler and I'd love to wrestle for JPP
Asami: You look in a lot better shape than some of our girls.
Martini: I also play rugby. That keeps me very fit.
Asami: You said you're a wrestler. Where have you worked?
Martini: I've wrestled here in Hong Kong for four years as Jade Phoenix under a mask. I want to move on to better competition. The only competition I had here was some guys and they weren't too dedicated.
Asami: I like your name... Martini... You could be shaken, but not stirred.
Martini: Pardon me?
Asami: Like James Bond, he liked his martinis shaken not stirred
Martini: Is that what he said? Those movies are badly translated into Chinese.
Asami: Do you have any video of your work?
Martini: I do, but I was hoping I could show you in person today.
Asami: We're about to set up the ring. When we're done, I'll have one of the girls try you out. Come on in
Martini: Thank you so much!

Ray Cassler: Hello everyone. Welcome to the first episode of Cassler's Corner here on NWA-JPP.com. Just a while ago, JPP crowned their first JPP Singles Champion. And here she is..... Kana!!



Ray Cassler: Congratulations on being the first JPP Singles Champion.
Kana: Thank you Cassler san. It was a very hard tournament with so many talented girls. I had to be at the top of my game for every match. When I got into puroresu seven years ago, my goal was to be as great as the joshi I grew up idolizing; greats like Manami Toyota, Akira Hokuto, Megumi Kudo, Devil Masami, Chigusa Nagayo and Lioness Asuka. Winning this title is just one step on the way to my goal.
Ray Cassler: I know you've only been the champion for less than an hour, but there's an obvious question. Is there anyone out there you'd like to put your title up against?
Kana: There are so many talented girls here in JPP and several throughout the NWA. I will face whoever JPP puts in the ring across from me. Even if it's not a title match, I know it's the title everyone in JPP wants, so I'll consider every match a title match.
Ray Cassler: Nice way to avoid naming any names. I'm gonna borrow a question from American football. Kana, you just won the JPP Singles Championship, what are you going to do now?
Kana: I'm going to Disneyland!

The girls have checked in for their flight back home to Tokyo. Kana is staring out the window at the tarmac.



Leon: What are you looking at?
Kana: Just looking at the planes. Wondering how many I'll be on if I have to defend the title in other promotions.
Leon: You'll be doing a lot of travelling if you win the Women's World Title also.
Kana: You think I can?
Leon: You have to be one of the favorites going into the tournament.
Kana: I'd need another bag just for the belts if I held both. But I may not have this after next week. Asami has already booked me in a title defense against Hiren.
Leon: She gave you a hell of a match last night. But you were on top of your game. Just keep up that determination and the title will be yours as long as you want.
Kana: I heard about what you said after your match last night. Why are you retiring?
Leon: I knew I'd retire eventually. My body is not as young as it once was. Along with our marriage plans, my fiance and I have been talking about starting a family. When I become a mother, I want to be able to play with my kid. Until then, I'll be working in my father's company; it could be mine some day.
Kana: I didn't even know you were engaged.
Leon: Nobody did. I wanted to keep it quiet.
Kana: It's safe with me.
Leon: Thanks. Here's our gate.

Asami and Kimiko get off the subway at Lai Chi Kok station. They walk down a long passageway and then up onto Cheung Yee St. They cross the street, enter a building and head up to the fouth floor.

receptionist: Welcome to Ipesons International. How may We help you.
Asami: We have an appointment to see one of your designers. We're from JPP
receptionist: Ah yes. You must be Ms Konno. Just wait, I'll page our designer.
designer: (minute later) Good afternoon ladies. I understand you want our help designing and manufaturing some shirts for your company.
Asami: We do.
designer: Follow me and we'll work on some designs. (entering his office) Do you have a logo for your company.
Kimiko: I've been working on it. It's the initials of our promotion in silver and red. I hope you can do those colours.
designer: If you don't mind my input. We've found that red and gold is a very popular and top selling colour combination. Do you have a digital copy of your logo?
Kimiko: It's on this flash drive.
designer: Hello Kitty flash drive.... cute. (plugs it in) There's your design. (quickly changes the silver to gold) How does that look?
Kimiko: You're right, that does look great. You like it Asami?
Asami: I love it.
designer: What kind of shirts did you want?
Kimiko: We had a look at your website. We like the TD-1001 style, the main body of the shirt in black and the accent colour in pink for women's shirts and red for men's shirts
designer: (busy working on his tablet) And you'd like the logo right here?
Kimiko: Those look great
Asami: That's the look. We'll place an order.
designer: How many do you want?
Kimiko: For the men's shirts, we'll start with 2 dozen small, 3 dozen each of medium large and XL and a dozen 2XL. For the women's shirts, 3 dozen each of the small, medium and large, 2 dozen XL, and one dozen 2XL.
designer: That's 24 dozen. We can give you a 10% discount if you order 25 dozen or more.
Kimiko: Change the women's medium to 4 dozen.
designer: I assumer you weren't expecting this order by Christmas.
Kimiko: Of course not. Would it be possible to have them ready by the 31st. We have a big show that night.
designer: No problem. We can have them ready by the 28th or 29th.

I think Kana will be coming to EPW in the not so distant future. So, she'll probably have to get on a couple of planes.

Asami and Kimiko are both working in the office. Asami picks up the phone and makes a call to Mizuki Endo.

Mizuki: Hello!
Asami: Hello Endo san. This is Asami Konno from JPP.
Mizuki: Good to hear from you Asami. Congratulations on being the Commissioner.
Asami: Thank you so much. I have something I'd like to ask you.
Mizuki: Is it something about Ramu?
Asami: Kinda sorta. It's actually about Eiger.
Mizuki: She hasn't come out of the closet in over a year. Bad pun, I know. What about her?
Asami: Would she be willing to come out of retirement for one match on New Years Eve?
Mizuki: We're gonna be on holidays in Florida with Ramu and the others til the 29th.
Asami: We could bring you and Haruka and Hideo here after that trip and send you back home to Tokyo.
Mizuki: The offer is intriguing. How much would you be paying Eiger?
Asami: How does 100,000 Yen sound?
Mizuki: I'd have to talk about this with Haruka and Hideo. Hold on...... They're right here and they're both saying yes. New Years Eve in Hong Kong sounds like fun.
Asami: Where can I send the tickets?
Mizuki: We'll be staying at the Pop Century Resort at Disneyworld.
Asami: Ok. They'll be there as soon as possible. Enjoy your trip.
Mizuki: Thank you Asami.

Lin Bairon and Tess LaCoyle have been shopping for a couple of hours at the high end Lee Gardens. They decide to take a break for a snack. They enter a restaurant.

hostess: Welcome to Cova Caffe-Ristorante.
Lin: We'd like a table for two
hostess: Do you have a reservation?
Lin: I don't need a reservation I'm a star.
hostess: We get celebrities here often. I don't recall seeing you here before. Who are you?
Lin: You don't know me! I'm Lin Bairon!
hostess: Sorry maam, I have no idea who you are.
Lin: Action star Lin Bairon!
hostess: Sorry maam.
Lin: I'm Hong Kong action star Lin Bairon and why the F*** would I want to eat in this rat infested sewer anyways.
hostess: There's no need to raise your voice and use that kind of language maam. It was you and your friend who came in here, we didn't invite you.
Lin: (walking out) D'IU LAY!!!

They walk out and leave the mall.

Tess: I thought everyone knew who you were.
Lin: That baat poh Michelle Yeoh probably had me blacklisted from all the celebrity hotspots.
Tess: She probably got you blacklisted from the World Title tournament too.
Lin: The Shaw Brothers are in on it too. Instead of being crowned the champion I am, I have to wrestle two little girls and a ghost
Tess: There's a McDonalds across the street.
Lin: COOL! They have Alvin & The Chipmunks happy meals

Ramu Endo: Hello NWA JPP and Hong Kong. This is Ramu Endo.
Keiko Mariko: And I'm Keiko Mariko. As you can see, we are enjoying the Magical Kingdom of Disneyworld here in Florida.
Ramu: We are enjoying the sights and sounds of the park, but the sights and sounds we are anxious for are the sights and sounds of a JPP ring.
Keiko: As soon as our visit here is done, we will be flying to Hong Kong to becaome part of the NWA JPP family. We are looking forward to our match on New Years Eve against Meiko Satomura and Emi Sakura.
Ramu: We saw the results of the drawing for the NWA Women's title tournament. I am happy that I have a first round match against Chii Tomiya. Chii is a very skilled and very crafty performer in the ring.
Keiko: I wish I had got a first round match, but I'll have to earn my way in by winning the battle royal.
Ramu: We look forward to competing with the best wrestlers in the world and winning titles. We also look forward to seeing our old fans and making many new fans.
Keiko: Until we see you on New Years Eve, have a great holiday season everyone.
