The night opened up with wrestling legend Dean Malenko coming out and telling the fans in attendance that tonight, the CPW would crown a champion!

12 men would start off in a "Deadly Draw" tournament. Their pairings pulled as the matches were announced at match time. Every man on the roster was eligible to be involved and had an equal opportunity at being involved.

In other news: As the show ended, Lex Luger made surprise appearance and claimed that both the NWA Continental Americas Champion, Brock Lesnar, and NWA North American heavyweight Champion, "Bonecrusher" Jeff Crowe, were scared of him and his legacy! He said that as the "Undisputed NWA United States Champion" he is the best. Luger held up the NWA United States Championship Belt as the fans looked on in surprise and awe. He then challenged the NWA National heavyweight championship, Chance Prophet to a match! The 'Total Package' claimed that he will be the man who will guide the NWA into the future! The new CPW Champion challenged Lex Luger to a match at the next CPW show!
