DARK MATCH
“Greek God” Papadon def. Jigsaw
This match was back and forth with Jigsaw using a high flying offense to take the fight to the “Greek God” but Papadon played the heel and used some dirty tricks to come away with the win after hitting a michinoku driver in the middle of the ring.
DARK MATCH
SoCal Speed(Kaz & TJ Perkins) w/ Elwood Gately def. The Super Smash Brothers(Player Uno & Player Dos)
This was a fast paced match that if you blinked you were bound to miss something, as these two teams put everything they could into this match. The finish came when Kaz hit a flatliner on Player Uno for a win out of nowhere.
The show opened with Josh Mathews and William Regal in front of the NWA East Coast logo draped in the background of the announce booth. Mathews had the unfortunate news that Drake Younger who was supposed to wrestle Steven Richards in a NWA East Coast TV title tournament match was found unconcious in his locker room and may not be able to compete tonight, but would keep the fans posted on his condition. Tonight in the main event Jon Moxley will face Homicide with the winner becoming the #1 contender for Rhino’s title at Great American Bash![/color]
NWA EAST COAST TELEVISION TITLE TOURNAMENT MATCH
Scotty Vortekz def. Brian Kendrick
Last week Takeshi Morshimia and Bryan Danielson were able to advance and this week Vortekz or Kendrick had the chance to join them. These two guys have no bad blood but both wanted to be crowned the first ever NWA East Coast Tv Champion. Kendrick tried for sliced bread but it was blocked by Vortekz, who was able to snap off a lightning spiral for a long two count a little later in the match. It took a second lighning spiral to finally put Kendrick away.
TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
Burchill w/ Kaitlynn & Dylan Klein w/ AJ Lee def. Rockstars of Wrestling(Jimmy Rave & Jason Hades)w/ Ms.Behave
This match had so much interference, Klein and Burchill are determined to change the face of tag team wrestling here in NWA East Coast by going on a streak heading into a hopeful NWA World Tag Team title shot against FutureShock at the NWA East vs. West iPPV. Ms. Behave tried to help her clients in the match but AJ was in her face as Kaitlynn helped keep the ref distracted with all the outside interference Klein was able to pull a hand full of tights on a roll up of Rave to steal a three count.
Don Callis announced that due to Drake Younger being unable to compete tonight due to him being found assaulted in his locker room before the show, his opponent Steven Richards would just get a bye. The owner of NWA East Coast, Dustin Smith came out dropping the collective jaws of the Network as he thanked Callis for holding onto the reigns of the company in his absense but he’s back now! Smith was on crutches but he let Callis know that he wants to give the fans a match and not a bye, so we get the best TV champion possible when it’s all said and done so he’s going to make the decision to replace Younger in the tournament, with this man… this monster… ABYSS!! NWA EAST COAST TELEVISION TITLE MATCH
Abyss def. Steven Richards w/ The Network
Richards didn’t have a chance in hell as Abyss planted him with a huge black hole slam for an easy victory.
NWA EAST COAST #1 CONTENDERS MATCH
“The Physical Genius” Jon Moxley def. “Notorious 187” Homicide
This was the longest match of the night as these two men tore into each other from the beginning brawling in a very street fight style. Homicide looked to make a statement by putting a little extra into every hold, throwing strikes whenever he could. But Moxley is riding a wave of momentum after putting on an incredible match against Bryan Danielson at the X 2012 iPPV. The match was back and forth, with Homicide trying to out villian Moxley who was just so unorthodox in this match. Homicide took a vicious double chickenwing facebuster but was able to kick out continuing this match. Moxley was able to hit a huge bulldog getting up and giving Homicide the finger gun execution before nailing a huge Boma Ye putting Homicide away! At the Great American Bash it will be Jon Moxley vs. Rhino for the NWA East Coast title!
