He said every person on the roster was eligible for inclusion. He continued that it could end up being a singles match.. a three way dance, or an 8 man elimination match. He said starting next week, a competitor would be named for inclusion into the CPW Championship Match... his "Aces Wild" match.
CPW Television Title Tournament - Semi-Finals
Christian pinned Matt Morgan after a spear in 10:18.
This match went back and forth. Both men left it in the ring. Morgan was the stronger of the two and it showed. Christian was the faster of the two and he used that to his advantage. Morgan was able to dominate a good portion of the match until Christian was able to hit a reverse Russian leg weep to stun the big man. As Morgan was getting up Christian hit a spear, but only got a 2 count. Christian again speared Morgan and this time held the tights and used the second rope for added leverage to get the 3 count.
One on One Match
Sin Cara defeated Samoa Joe by countout in 02:04 after The Miz interfered against Samoa Joe.
This was a very short match, but in these few minutes, Sin Cara proved to be able to hold his own against Joe. Could he have won without the interference of The Miz? We may not know based on this outcome, but Cara picked up the win after The Miz came out and pulled Joe from the ring and then leveled him with the ring bell. The Miz gloated as he slithered up the ramp, smiling and waving at Joe as he was counted out, giving the win to Sin Cara.
Evan Borne was seen backstage in a very pissy mood. He said that since last week, he has been getting nothing but hate mail on his twitter and face book accounts. He said that the fans didn't understand him. He said that over the years he was doing what he was told. Selling the 'good boy act', as he put it. He said he was done with that. He said next week he would confront Kofi, and they would come to a conclusion. Stay or go. Either way he was fine with it, but Kofi had to make up his mind, he had to do it, face to face.
CPW Television Title Tournament - Semi-Finals
Christopher Daniels pinned The Miz with the Best Moonsault Ever in 12:39 after Samoa Joe interfered against The Miz.
The Miz was pure evil in their match, while Chris Daniels was golden. They had a clash of styles that blended very well. The Miz was all ground and methodical dissection, and Daniels was lightning fast and took to the air. Both men blended to the others style and put on possibly one of the better matches of the night. As fate would have it, the ref went down and out came Joe! Joe and Miz traded a few shot with each other, only to be ended as Joe kicked Miz 'south of the boarder'. Joe then nailed Miz with the Muscle Buster to leave him decimated. Daniels was furious at the interference, but just smiled and waved as he left the ring. Chris didn't want the cheap win, so he pulled Miz to the middle of the ring and hit him with the BME, to get a semi-clean win, as the ref came to. Daniels was not happy with the win, but he advanced to the finals.
One on One Match
CM Punk pinned Kofi Kingston after a top-rope Frankensteiner in 07:46.
This match went back and forth. Kofi looked good in their match. His high energy played off of Punks focused attacks. They put on a good match entertaining the fans with their hard hitting kicks, strikes and high flying action. In the end, Punk's ability to mix ground work with high risk moves was the end all as he hit a top-rope Frankensteiner to end the match. After the Match Evan Borne is seen standing in the back, watching the outcome on a moniter.
Challenge Tag Team Match
Pure Dynamite (John Walters and Josh Daniels) defeated Money Inc. (Ted DiBiase and Robert Roode) by disqualification in 12:19.
The NWA 3 Rivers team of Pure Dynamite was pure gold in this match! The two teams world exceptional well together. Both teams went back and forth, with Money Inc. cheating at every turn. the fans were hot for Walters and Daniels, as Ted and Roode were just arrogant bastards. In the end, Pure Dynamite were on the verge of taking the win, so Ted took the low road and busted Josh with a chair for the DQ loss. As Roode and Ted started to lay into Walters and Daniels, LAX made the save!
