The show starts off with a pretaped segment with NWA East Coast and NWA President, Dustin Smith. He lets everyone know that due to some bad promises Don Callis made to FOX that were impossible to meet, NWA East Coast has lost it’s television deal. Tonight beginnings the first online show of NWA East Coast along the same vein of what NWA TNA used to do about 10 years ago. But tonight we’ve got some great new talent, that will be debuting through the night with the main event being Jon Moxley vs. “The Rippa” Burchill! Enjoy the show…
M-Dogg 20 def. “Lucky” tHURTeen
SINGLES MATCH
This is the first match of the show and it’s a contest between two men who prefer to defy gravity, tHURTeen is a former face of NWA East Coast coming back to face off against new comer M-Dogg who was looking to make an impact with a victory here tonight. tHURTeen looked really comfy and almost pulled off the win with a wild standing contra code but turned it into a backstabber at the last second for the near win! The crowd went wild as M-Dogg was able to kick out, and come back fighting while favoring his injuried back and was able to hit a beautiful 450 splash to put tHURTeen away after an intense match.
CM Punk came out in his suit and NWA World Heavyweight Championship, followed by Steven Richards tapping away at his ipad, and Eli Cottonwood who’s looking menacing as he follows the champ to the ring. Punk gets on the mic, at Great American Bash Punk has to take on not one but three opponents in what could possibly be the toughest challenge he’s had since becoming the NWA World Heavyweight champion but he’s the best in the world, and he’s called that for a reason. Uhaa Nation w/ The Embassy def. Scotty Gash
SINGLES MATCH
Prince Nana used local wrestler “Spotlight” Scotty Gash as an example of the raw talent from the rookie sensation, Uhaa Nation. Gash didn’t stand a chance as Nation hit a huge press slam following up with a standing shooting star press crashing all 250lbs. down on the chest of Gash for the victory!
AJ Lee def. Christina Von Eerie, Serena Deeb and Katie Lea Burchill
FATAL FOUR WAY MATCH
In the historic first womens match of NWA East Coast, and probably any promotion I’ve ever ran. This match was wild and all four women were briefed on the importance of the match before hand so they did everything they could to make the match mean that much more! Christina Von Eerie wasn’t trying to make friends as she attacked anyone she could get in arms reach of, but ended up getting blasted in the end with a shining wizard giving AJ Lee the out of no where victory!
Rey Mysterio Jr. def. Bandido Jr.
SINGLES MATCH
El Generico, who will face off against Mysterio at the East vs. West show came to ringside to add some spanish flare to the commentary as he got a ringside view of his opponent. The match in the ring was fast paced with Bandido Jr. doing a great job of working with Mysterio and helping him look great. Bandido Jr was able to snap off a cradle driver but was upset when Mysterio was able to kick out, the end spot was a springboard crossbody that saw Mysterio hold on tight to the leg of Bandido Jr to pull out the victory.
After the match Mysterio and El Generico have a little stare down.
The Rockstars of Wrestling(Jimmy Rave & Jason Hades) w/ Lena Yada def. Up in Smoke(Cheech & Cloudy)
TAG TEAM MATCH
The Rockstars of Wrestling looked impressive as they dominated Up in Smoke by cutting off the ring keeping Cloudy from getting to his partner. Rave snapped off a nice superkick that spelled the end for Up in Smoke as RoW continue to gain victories.
Lena Yada got on the mic and announced that at East vs. West, The Rockstars of Wrestling will be the team to face FutureShock for the World Tag Team titles.
“The Soviet Shooter” Alex Koslov def. “Handicap Hero” Greg Iron
SINGLES MATCH
Greg Iron put on a great debut match against a man who almost won the X title. But Iron is a fighter and he showed a lot of heart trying to pull off a big win in his debut. But Koslov is a very proud and determined man who wasn’t willing to let someone get an upset over him as he started to cut corners cheating heavily before slapping on the soviet stretch forcing Iron to submit.
After the match Koslov continued to attack Iron, before getting on the mic and letting Iron know that he should just give up, he not only has cerebral palsy but he’s also American. So he’ll never be anything more than a sideshow. Iron got up stand up to Koslov but Alex slithered out of the ring leaving Iron fuming. Iron got on a mic of his own and let Koslov know that anytime he’s got the guts to step in the ring again Iron will be waiting!
Ricochet def. “Notorious 187” Homicide
SINGLES MATCH
This was a vicious match that the south philly crowd love to see, the match was back in forth with Ricochet using his agility to try to stay away from the hard hitting Homicide. But eventually Homicide was able to brutalize Ricochet with hard hitting strikes, Ricochet was able to hit a springboard tornado DDT that putt down Homicide long enough for a 630 senton. Homicide was able to kick out and tried to put away Ricochet but ended up getting rolled up kicking out just a hair second after the three count giving Ricochet the win.
Matt Taven vs. Bryan Danielson
SINGLES MATCH
Danielson didn’t take Taven very seriously, and Taven took advantage pulling out everything possible . Danielson tried over and over to get a submission on Taven but he was able to slip out or get a rope break to keep himself in the match. Taven pulled off a huge superkick but wasn’t about to pick up the win as Danielson got his shoulder up. The match continued as the ring announcer started to alert that they had minutes left in the 20min time limit. The match continued until Danielson slapped on the crossface chickenwing but the time limit ended the match before Taven could submit.
Jon Moxley def. Burchill
SINGLES MATCH
This was a great match as Moxley continues to make a case on why he’s the man who’s going to knock Rhino off at Great American Bash, but tonight he had to face off against Burchill who gave Mox a run for his money. Burchill tried for the C4 but Moxley was able to elbow his way free and spike Burchill with a big DDT before slinking into the corner firing off the finger gun before charging and blasting Burchill with the devestating Boma Ye to continue his winning ways.
Jon Moxley got on the mic after the match, cutting a disturbing promo about how he plans on taking the NWA East Coast title from Rhino, on his way towards CM Punk. Because to Moxley the East Coast title isn’t what he wants but he understands that it’s a stop on the road to the most prestigious title in this sport, and to get a match with Punk he’s going to have to beat a Rhino or two on the way and he’s fine with that. But know, that when the time comes when it’s Jon Moxley vs. CM Punk for the NWA World Heavyweight title… Jon Moxley will show the world that when CM Punk says he’s the best in the world, he’s a fucking liar!
