A highlight package of the Great American Bash and JPP’s Summer Supershow is shown on TV and on the Purotron in Queen Elizabeth stadium. When the show comes live, Commissioner Asami Konno is in the ring.

Asami Konno - Good evening everyone! I am JPP Commissioner Asami Konno and welcome to Athena Pro! I want to thank everyone who joined us in Shanghai last Friday for our Summer Supershow. You helped us to make that our greatest show yet. Who made the show truly great were all the girls and women who gave everything they had in every match. All the girls from JPP, California Pro, NWA East Coast, Ring of Honor and Windy City Pro Wrestling deserve our thanks; without them, we wouldn’t have the greatest fans in the world!
Now onto some business. There was a situation developing for about a month that finally exploded last Friday in Shanghai. After a successful defence of the Sky High Tag Team titles, Natsuki*Taiyo brazenly attacked her own partner Chii Tomiya and walked off with both belts. I am going to ask once and I’m asking nicely, Natsuki come out here and bring both the belts.

Asami Konno - Before you force me into something you may regret, give me the belts; they don’t belong to you anymore but you will have an opportunity to regain them…. (Natsuki drops the belts on Asami’s feet)… Thank you. Now I want Chii to come out here.

Chii Tomiya runs to the ring at a dead sprint and dives in under the bottom rope. Commissioner Konno deliberately gets in her way.

Asami Konno - Stop it right there Chii. If either of you attacks the other, bumps into the other, throws something at the other, or any other kind of contact what so ever, you’re out of the match for these now vacant titles. You both have a rightful claim to these belts, so I’m giving you both from now until the main event tonight to find a new tag team partner. Our main event will be Natsuki*Taiyo and a partner of her choice versus Chii Tomiya and a partner of her choice for the Sky High Tag Team Titles!
Now it’s time for some girls who have been absent from this ring for a while to start re-earning their keep!

As the girls are introduced, Basara looks totally disinterested and just leans in the corner, Martini high fives fans all around the ring and even hugs a few, and Mia struts to the ring, stopping occasionally to pose for nonexistent photographers.
As soon as Mia steps through the ropes, the bell rings. Martini charges across the ring and spears Mia. Martini goes for a cover but Basara half-heartedly pulls her off and returns to her corner. Mia manages to kick martini in the leg as martini is staring at Basara. Mia gets to her feet and is able to land a few more kicks on Martini. Mia takes Martini down with a DDT and goes for a cover. Once again, Basara half-heartedly breaks the pin attempt and returns to the corner. Mia rushes over and is yelling at and slapping Basara. Martini is back on her feet; she charges at Mia for a spear but Mia gets out of the way and Basara is driven hard into the turnbuckle. Mia gets in a few kicks on Martini and poses like she’s won. When Mia turns around, she is knocked out of her boots by a spear from Martini. Martini hooks both legs and gets the three count.

Akira Hokuto - If Basara and Mia think that’s how you wrestle, they need to spend a lot more time in the dojo and get a dose of reality. Only Martini had her head in that match.
Masa Horie - After those spears from Martini, Basara and Mia may not have their heads at all.

Hiroyo comes to the ring looking smug and confident. She yanks the mic away from Nerissa Sanchez

Hiroyo Matsumoto - Go ahead and boo all you want because I know those boos are just masking your jealousy of me. You’re all jealous of how great I am in this ring that you boo me. Everyone in the back is jealous of me, everyone behind the camera is jealous of me, everyone in front of the camera is jealous me, Masa Horie is jealous of me, the not so dangerous queen is jealous of me.
But being great sometimes can be a curse and cause me to make small mistakes. It caused me to not do a background check on my former employee. So I had to fire her when I found out the truth about her and sent her packing. My greatness even distracted me tonight and I forgot to introduce my new employee, someone with a clean record, someone who will watch out for me and not get too ahead of herself. Everyone get your fat behinds out of your seats for Taya Valkyrie!!

A tall very muscular blonde woman walks down the aisle and climbs into the ring. She stands behind Hiroyo menacingly.

Hiroyo Matsumoto - Now you get to witness my greatness as some unfortunate loser from the back comes out here to lose. Whoever is feeling brave tonight come on out… but no senior citizen like last week

Ramu Endo walks to the ring. Ramu tries to get in Hiroyo’s face but is blocked by Taya Valkyrie. Taya grabs Ramu by the throat with both hands and choke slams her to the mat. Hiroyo covers Ramu, hooking both legs. Taya Valkyrie slaps the mat three times. Hiroyo celebrates like she’s won the world title.

Masa Horie - That wasn’t even a match; there was no referee and the bell never rang. It was just a glorified assault.
Akira Hokuto - I didn’t mind Hiroyo’s insult, I’ve been insulted by better and I’ve insulted better. But I always stood up to my insults and never relied on some jacked up amazon to do the work for me.

Yuzuki is looking a bit nervous as she stretches and tests out the ropes. The lights dim and a single red spotlight illuminates the entrance area. Yuhi steps through the curtain. She walks to the ring with a determined purpose. Yuhi climbs into the ring, throws her hair back and screams.
Yuzuki offers her hand, but Yuhi just stares at it.
As soon as the bell rings, Yuhi fires a roundhouse kick over Yuzuki’s head. Yuzuki immediately gets into a defensive posture. Yuhi cracks the inside of Yuzuki’s right leg with a vicious kick. Yuzuki backs off, shaking her leg. Yuhi’s confidence is growing as she fires off more kicks and punches; Yuzuki manages to block some of them.
Yuhi is off balance after missing a jumping back heel kick. Yuzuki grabs Yuhi’s head and drives her to the mat with a DDT. Yuzuki tries for a pin but only gets two. Yuhi rolls out of the way of a Yuzupon Kick and legsweeps Yuzuki. Yuhi only gets 2 on a cover. Yuhi tries for a springboard roundhouse kick and catches Yuzuki in temple, sending her tumbling through the ropes. Yuhi looks a bit confused what to do as the referee makes the count. Yuzuki gets to her feet at 8 and crawls back into the ring just before 10.
Yuhi goes for another roundhouse kick. Yuzuki ducks, grabs Yuhi’s leg and rolls her up for a three count.

Lin Bairon is introduced and comes to the ring with Tess LaCoyle. When Ayumi Kurihara is introduced and sees Tess in the ring, she waves and Kana comes through the curtain. The two teams are facing off in the middle of the ring. Kana asks for the ring mic.

Kana - Commissioner Konno, I want you to come out here so conspiracy girl can’t deny what I’m going to ask.

Commissioner Konno comes out to the ring.

Kana - I’m going to make a challenge, or an offer if you want to call it that. Our tag title rematch is already scheduled for the show in two weeks. I want to add a couple of stipulations to that match. If Ayumi and I lose, we split up and never team up again… (Lin is smiling and nodding excitedly)… If we win, we get the titles and I get a rematch with Gail Kim for the NWA Women’s World Title; she never beat me and never will.

Lin Bairon and Tess are blowing a gasket in anger as Commissioner Konno shakes Kana’s hand. Kana grabs Tess in a waistlock and takes her over with a German suplex. Ayumi hits Lin with a running double knee strike, sending her into the corner. The referee calls for the bell to start the match.
Ayumi hits Lin with a basement dropkick in the corner. Ayumi goes for a quick pin but Lin manages to get a foot on the bottom rope. As Ayumi is trying to lift Lin, Lin hits her with an uppercut. Lin manages to get to her feet and comes at Ayumi with a series of kicks. Lin has the advantage for a few minutes. Lin goes up top and comes off with a picture perfect Linsault. The referee makes a two count before Lin pulls off. Lin is taking her time climbing the turnbuckle again, giving Ayumi precious time to recover. As Lin is coming off with another Linsault, Ayumi catches her arm and takes her down into a jujigatame. Lin is trying to scramble free but Ayumi pulls tighter. Lin eventually taps out.

NWA JPP Sky High Tag Team Titles

Ring Announcer Nerissa Sanchez - This is a pick your partner match is for the vacant JPP Sky High Tag Team titles. Coming to the ring first, from Kawasaki, Japan, Natsuki*Taiyo

Natsuki*Taiyo and Nagisa Nozaki run to the ring.

Ring Announcer Nerissa Sanchez - Their opponents, first, from Utsunomiya City, Japan, Chii Tomiya!!

Chii runs to the ring on her own. Natsuki grabs the mic from Nerissa.

Natsuki*Taiyo - What did I tell you Chii. All those losers you’ve been hanging out with aren’t your friends. None of them wanted to come out here and lose with you. Why not just lay down and let us win like we obviously will.

Chii smiles and points at the entrance. About 30 seconds into the piece, Lisa Cheng comes through the curtain and walks to the ring. She climbs onto the apron then front flips over the top rope. Natsuki and Nagisa are looking worried. Natsuki is trying to convince Nagisa to start the match when the bell rings.
When Nagisa turns around, Chii hits her with a dropkick. Chii sends Nagisa off the ropes and hits her with a cross body block. Chii bounces off the ropes and lands another cross body block; does it again, and again. Chii lifts Nagisa and hiptosses her into the corner with Natsuki. Chii waves for Natsuki to come in. Natsuki cautiously tags herself in and steps through the ropes. Natsuki narrowly ducks out of the way when Chii charges in. Natsuki gets behind Chii and takes her over with a German suplex. Chii kicks out before the three count. Natsuki springboards off the middle rope for a legdrop but Chii rolls out of the way.
Chii makes the tag to Lisa and the crowd erupts. Lisa vaults over the top rope and catches Natsuki with a leg scissors takeover. She hits Natsuki with a basement dropkick; Natsuki tumbles backwards into her corner. Natsuki slaps Nagisa to make the tag. As Nagisa is coming through the ropes, Lisa does the splits and catches Nagisa with an uppercut. Lisa springs to her feet and catches Nagisa with a back elbow. Lisa spins and catches Nagisa with an elbow from the other side. Lisa hits Nagisa with a jumping knee right to the chin; Nagisa collapses in the corner.
Lisa looks at Chii for advice; Chii points up. Lisa lifts a still stunned Nagisa onto the top turnbuckle. Lisa climbs to the top turnbuckle, grabs Nagisa’s head and arm and flips backwards. Lisa crawls onto Nagisa for the three count.
Lisa Cheng pinned Nagisa Nozaki with The Eiger Sanction! Lisa Cheng & Chii Tomiya win the NWA JPP Sky High Tag Team Titles!!!
