The opening credits roll as the special two hour Adrenaline comes on the air, the show opens up with Joey Styles and "The Extreme Intellectual" Don Callis standing infront of a 3RW banner.
Joey Styles: Hello everyone and welcome to 3 Rivers Wrestling, I am your host Joey Styles along with my broadcast partner...
Don Callis: Joey I can introduce myself, I do it better than you anyways. I'm "The Extreme Intellectual" Don Callis and I've got some exclusive information.
Joey Styles: Exclusive information?
Don Callis: Yes, if you came to any of the meetings you'd know that tonight, Pure Dynamite will be facing off against the BLK OUT, and that John Cena will go one on one with Bryan Danielson!
Joey Styles: WHAT MEETINGS?!
Don Callis: I guess it's on a need to know bases and you must not need to know.
Joey Styles: Oh my god... anyways let's head to ringside for the opening match up of the NWA 3 Rivers, Adrenaline two hour special!
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Mike Bennett w/ Brutal Bob def. Eddie Edwards and Kenny Omega
This was a great match showcasing three incredibly talented young men, Brutal Bob was in the corner of Bennett and he made himself a thorn in the side of Omega and Edwards. Omega had the potential win at one point hitting Croyt's Wrath on Edwards but Brutal Bob was able to keep the ref distracted long enough for Bennett to break up the pin, and used the Box office smash on Omega and with Bob on the apron pointing out the pin to the ref, allowed Bennett to steal one in the opening contest.
TAG TEAM MATCH
The Revolution (Adam Cole & Kyle O'Reilly) def. Up in Smoke (Cheech and Cloudy)
Joey Styles thanked NWA Midwest for allowing The Revolution to compete in this showcase match. These two teams bring a very fast paced style to their matches and matched up very well getting the crowd worked into the frenzy with quick tags and fast paced action. Cheech and O'Reilly spent the most time in the ring for their teams as they traded holds with O'Reilly using a variety of kicks to work over Cheech forcing him to tag out to Cloudy, who used the tag advantage to double team O'Reilly with an assisted snap swinging neckbreaker, forcing Adam Cole to make the save. The match continued with O'Reilly tagging out to Cole who was able to get the win for his team after snapping off a superkick on Cloudy as O'Reilly held off Cheech for the three count.
After the commercial break, R.D. Evans and Jesyka come out with Roderick Strong causing the crowd to boo wildly as they enter the ring. Evan's just looks so arrogant that you just have to hate him.
R.D. Evans: The power's that be are calling this a supershow? That this is some sort of extravaganza to show off the locker room of 3 Rivers Wrestling, well if that's the case then why in the hell is my client excluded from the card?! We are out raged over the fact that "The messiah of the backbreaker" isn't on this card so we're going to give him a match right now! Get a ref out here!
SINGLES MATCH
Roderick Strong w/ Jesyka & R.D. Evans def. "The Machine" Mike Carson
Ever heard of Mike Carson? nobody else watching has either, this was a one sided match up where Strong just dominated some poor guy who was just trying to get his name out there. Strong hit the death by Roderick on Carson and then followed up putting him in the Stronghold, Carson tapped immediatly but Strong refused to break the hold as Carson screamed in pain!
The ref kept calling for the bell as Strong continued to keep the hold locked on tight, this brought out "Diehard" Eddie Edwards who blind sided Roderick Strong and layed into him with a barrage of punches as the two stars brawled wildly forcing the locker room to empty as heels and faces alike broke up the fight.
NWA 3 RIVERS X TITLE MATCH
"Valhalla's Favorite Son" Brandon Bonham(c) def. BxB Hulk
BxB Hulk was all smiles as he came out dancing with his dancing girls flanking him, the whole entrance was pretty nice, but the smiles faded as Hulk and Bonham put on a great X division inspired match that was full of near falls but the end came when Bonham used a second burning mjolnir to keep Hulk down for a three count.
The show cuts to some footage brought to you by NWA California Pro highlighting the match that took place between Money Inc. and Pure Dynamite. Which led to Money Inc. cheating and LAX coming in to make the save.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Pure Dynamite (Josh Daniels & John Walters) vs. BLK OUT (Sabian & Alex Colon)
This was a clash of styles as the hard hitting BLK OUT brought the fight to the technically sound Pure Dynamite and both teams came to win. The match didn't last long as Cali pro's Money Inc. rushed the ring assaulting Pure Dynamite again, and things got even more wild as LAX rushed in again to make the save causing BLK out and Money Inc. to join forces against LAX and Pure Dynamite. Pure Dynamite and LAX were able to chase off their enemies as the show cut to commercial break.
SINGLES MATCH
"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson def. John Cena
Streamers flooded the ring for AmDrag as toliet paper streamers flooded the ring for Cena who let everyone know how he felt by giving the crowd the finger during his introduction. The match was really good with Cena using his raw power to keep up with pound for pound one of the best wrestlers in the world. Cena's smash mouth style was very over powering as he blasted Danielson with a leaping shoulder tackle following up with an impactful running fist drop. Cena tried to go for the Death Valley Driver but Danielson was able to slip free and after some battling for position, Danielson was able to slap on the le belle lock forcing Cena to submit.
The show cut to another video package showing the attack that Sami Callihan made on Gallows brandishing a switchblade and eventually being taken away in hand cuffs. Which brings us to this grudge match tonight...
SINGLES MATCH
Luke Gallows w/ Elwood Gately def. "The New Horror" Sami Callihan
Callihan was led to the ring in hand cuffs, and Gallow's capitalized attacking Callihan prematch before the officer could uncuff him. Callihan was extremely defensless and ended up getting pummelled by the dominating Gallows. But thanks to the unorthodox style of Callihan, he was able to fight back with kicks and double fist attacks using the handcuffs as a weapon a few times fighting for his life. Eventually knocking down Gallows long enough to get back to the officer to get the handcuffs off! Elwood Gately tried to interfere weilding his briefcase, but Callihan cut him off and bashed the briefcase over Gately's head, before getting into the ring and using the metal briefcase on Gallows resulting in Callihan losing the match due to DQ!
Callihan tried to continue his assault on Gallows, but officers were able to wrangle and recuff Callihan dragging the new horror into the back.
SINGLES MATCH
Adam "Scrap Iron" Pearce w/ C. Edward Vanderpyle def. "The Phenominal" AJ Styles
AJ Styles speed was a huge factor in this match, but Pearce used an old school "grind it out" style to put Styles through hell. In one of the longer matches of the night Pearce had to rely on cunning and skill to work through this match, as the younger and more nimble Styles had the crowd solidly behind him through this match. Styles even had the match in hand after nailing the pele kick stopping Pearce's momentum dead at one point, getting himself pumped up to hit the corkscrew moonsault but Pearce for his knees up at the last second. Pearce got up clearly in pain as he drug Styles up enough to execute a piledriver, driving Styles head into the canvas and putting the Phenominal one down.
NWA 3 RIVERS TELEVISION TITLE MATCH
"Unbreakable" Mike Elgin(c) w/ Elwood Gately def. "The Timber Wolf" Davey Richards
Just in case you missed the first time that these two guys went toe to toe over the television title, or if you saw it and didn't think 3RW could get any better than that you were in for a treat. This match had a different feel as Elgin had more confidence now that the TV title is around his waist, and Richards seemed more hungry now that this was the last chance he'd get at the TV title for awhile. Elgin was a freight train ramming Richards with suprising speed and power as Richards relied on his martial arts background to throw some fluid and stinging kicks and chops. Gately who was still hurting from earlier in the night was a near non-factor as he was to busy tending to his head to worry about what was going on in the ring. Richards tried at one point for the DR Driver but Elgin was able to escape with a backdrop. Elgin even ran into trouble when he tried to powerbomb Richards but ended up getting hurricanrana'd! Richards used the opening to unleash a torrent of vicious kicks trying to wear down the champ, but Elgin went to another level and came literally roaring back and even nailed a discus clothesline on Richards putting the challenger on his ass! Elgin went for the powerbomb again but again Richards countered this time sliding down the back of Elgin and slapping on a brutal ankle lock, but Elgin held on and drug himself to the ropes for the break. Elgin the match continued teetering dangerously towards running out of time as Elgin finally snapped off the gutwrench powerbomb getting the three count and getting the pinfall!
