NWA Hybrid Pro TV Results 11/08/2012
Welcome to the latest episode of Hybrid Pro TV. We have an action packed night of action for you as faction warfare really begins to take off. However we begin the show with a pure wrestling showcase, lets get straight into the action.
Pure Wrestling Showcase
Chad Collyer vs Charlie Haas
A great opening contest here between two talented veterans, which was filled with back and forth chain wrestling and submissions from bell to bell. Haas hasn't had a lot of luck in recent times in Hybrid Pro, he hasn't won a match in weeks so really needed a victory here, while Collyer having being given a second chance in Hybrid Pro wanted a win to re-establish himself. In the end Haas got the win here by making Collyer tap to the Haas of Pain.
Winner- Charlie Haas
Post match Haas offered a handshake to Collyer, but he refused, saying that he hasn't earned his respect yet. He challenges him to a Pure Wrestling Rules match next week, a challenge which is accepted by Haas.
We cut backstage to see MASON ANDREWS BEING ATTACKED BY THE ANTICHRISTS! They are beating the hell out of him in the locker room, and Newgen can't get in as The Antichrists have locked the door! Cibernetico holds him up by the throat and chokes him out, claiming that Newgen will never outmatch them with pathetic wrestlers like Andrews on their side. Newgen finally manage to break the door down, but The Antichrists are gone leaving Andrews lying. I'd say there's no way that Andrews will make the main event tonight in this condition, so unless Newgen can get another partner they are in a handicap situation.
3 Way Scramble Tag
The Jung Dragons (Jimmy Yang and Kaz Hayashi) vs York and Matthews (Christian York and Joey Matthews) vs 3 Count (Shane Helms and Shannon Moore)
Both York and Matthews and 3 Count have been hired to help add some spice to the tag team division, with the winners of this match being given a title shot against The United Nations next week on Hybrid Pro TV. Much like the first match, this one was a battle of 3 veteran teams, only this one was more of an aerial battle as opposed to a technical masterpiece. The action was fast and intense though, and we saw lots of innovative double teams from both teams. In the end York and Matthews scored what could be seen as an upset, as they hat the Full Effect on Yang to pin the former tag team champion.
Winners- York and Matthews
Post match after York and Matthews left, 3 Count and The Jung Dragons got in each others faces a bit, and before we knew it a brawl started up! Referees ran out to intervene and stop this, but there's some bad blood brewing between these two. Next week it'll be The Jung Dragons vs 3 Count, plus York and Matthews vs The United Nations for the tag belts.
Johnny Gargano vs Drew McIntyre
A showcase for two of Hybrid Pro's finest young talents, with McIntyre one half of the Hybrid Pro Tag Team Champions while Gargano won the Young Lions Cup in a majorly impressive display last week, yet rumours persist over him getting involved in the Antichrists/Newgen war on one side or the other. McIntyre may have looked good in there, but Gargano was on a major roll and looks more focused on business than he has ever done, and as a result the outcome was never really in doubt. Gargano nailed the Hurts Donut and that kept McIntyre down for 3.
Winner- Johnny Gargano
Before Gargano could celebrate, Pinkie Sanchez made his way to the ring, and begged for Gargano to rejoin Newgen and help him out, saying that mason Andrews can't compete and Newgen will die without his help. Gargano just laughed and walked out, saying he doesn't care and has more important things to worry about than Sanchez and Newgen. I wonder what Gargano means by that?
James Storm vs Wade Barrett
A lot of people were confused by James Storm joining The Group last week, thinking that he wouldn't want to play second fiddle to Damien Sandow and that he isn't a good fit for them, yet here he is, and he certainly didn't look any lesser than he has in the past. This ended up being a great brawl between two of the best brawlers in Hybrid pro, with both men throwing some nasty punches and bring the violence that we all expect to see in this Group/United Nations war. Storm grabbed a chain out of his trunks as Barrett looked to go for the Wasteland, knocking him out with it as Barrett had him up, falling on top and getting the 3 count.
Winner- James Storm
Bo Dallas makes his way out, followed by Bray Wyatt who shakes hands with the fans on his way the ring along with the announcer, from whom he takes the microphone.
Wyatt: Hey Bo, my brother from the same mother, your my family man and I can't hurt you. This match doesn't need to happen, we can settle this like the cool, civilized human beings that we are. All you have to do is admit that your inferior to me in every single possible way, you stupid, ugly, pathetic excuse for a human being! Then you can apologise to me and all will be well in the world, we will be family and life will be good. What do you say?
Dallas barely let Wyatt finish that question, knocking his lights out with a right hand, Wyatt has some nerve saying what he did after the way he assaulted Dallas last week.
Brother vs Brother
Bray Wyatt vs Bo Dallas
This was a real war, as these two brothers did not hold anything back here. Dallas was enraged and wanted Wyatt's blood, as he refused to let us and give his brother any kind of room. Wyatt however showed the same level of viciousness, but he went way further with the violence, showing a really sick side that even I didn't think he had in him. He continually threw punches, until he managed to bust Dallas wide open, then started tasting Dallas's blood! Then he wiped his hand all over the cut and smeared the blood all over himself, how sick and depraved is this man, thats his own family! Dallas mounted a angry fightback but Wyatt snuck in a Low Blow when the ref wasn't looking, crushed him in the corner with a Splash Mountain, then kissed his own brother goodnight before dropping him with the STO, 1-2-3.
Winner- Bray Wyatt
Wyatt grabs another handful of Dallas's blood and licks it, showing an utterly crazed look on his face as he beckons to the heavens shouting "hallelujah" before shaking the referees hand and leaving. Dallas however had something to say before he could.
Dallas: WINDHAM! Your no brother of mine anymore, you don't deserve to call yourself a Rotunda. Is this your idea of a sick game, busting me open then treating my blood like its a trophy. Is this how you want to try and say your better than me, that your more to our family than I am. Well next week it ends, I want your blood, and we will have a First Blood match. Not only that, but if I don't win, I'm gone from Hybrid Pro, I can't stand to be in the same promotion as you anymore. See you next week asshole!
Wyatt has a look of fear on his face for the briefest of moment, knowing that his career in Hybrid Pro could be in jeopardy, but its soon replaced with a sick smile as he lick more of Dallas's blood off his fingers, promising he will taste more of it next week.
The United Nations (Paul Burchill and Harry Smith) vs The Group (Damien Sandow and Michael Shane)
Burchill and Smith made one hell of a tag team, two men who are utter wrestling machines, who can both overpower and outwrestle just about anyone/ But in Sandow and Shane they had opponents who knew how to wrestle smart, they effectively played a strategy in this match where they tried to anger their big opponents with mind games, constantly stalling and running and picking their spots. Through almost blatant cheating The Group isolated Smith, but he broke free and tagged Burchill who destroyed both men. He started chasing Sandow around ringside, only for Shane to get in the way and distract him as Sandow snuck back into the ring. As Burchill was occupied with Shane, he got counted out, meaning The Group effectively stole a win from The United Nations here in what you have to say is clever fashion.
Winners- The Group by countout
Burchill was utterly fuming, as he began to destroy Shane at ringside. Sandow ran or his life as Burchill grabbed Shane and took him towards the announcers table. C4 ON THE ANNOUNCERS TABLE, AND IT DOESN'T BREAK! Burchill really is fuming now, and picks up Shane's limp body off the table. POWERBOMB THROUGH THE TABLE! The fans chant "Burchill" as he signifies that Sandow will pay for this next week when the two of them meet one on one.
Sheamus "Fella" vs John Morrison
Former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus has had mixed fortunes in recent times, losing to Kyle Matthews at The Great American Bash, yet has largely been winning the majority of his matches here in Hybrid Pro, though people are beginning to question whether he can win at the highest level now. He and Morrison put on a good match here as Sheamus used his power and brawling skill to combat the flashy high flying moves of Morrison. Morrison actually had this won at one point, having Sheamus down on the canvas, but he got too cocky and posed a little to long setting up for Starship Pain, by the time he went for the move Sheamus had moved out of the way. One Brogue Kick later and Morrison was out for the count.
Winner- Sheamus
Both Newgen and The Antichrists make their way to the ring for their match, and there is no sign of Mason Andrews nor a partner for Newgen. But somebody did come out to the ring, that being Johnny Gargano, and HE'S IN AN ANTICHRISTS SHIRT! Johnny Gargano has joined The Antichrists, what a disappointment, has he learned nothing from what happened to The Revolution! He's here to watch this match with his new team mates at ringside in what effectively is a 6 on 4 handicap match.
Main Event, 5 on 4 Handicap Match
The Antichrists (Cibernetico, Jon Moxley, Shinsuke Nakamura, Jeff Hardy and La Sombra) vs Newgen (Pinkie Sanchez, Rich Swann, Kyle Matthews and Kota Ibushi)
Newgen gave their absolute all, going an all out offensive from the get go, but Cibernetico's destructive power alone kept them from making any kind of major impact, along with Moxley who isolated Swann and beat the hell out of him. not to mention breaking him mentally with mind games. It looked like Newgen were going to get taken out for good here, however nobody could have expected what would happen to turn the match completely on its head. Sombra signalled for Gargano to come into the ring and help him finish off Swann as Hardy distracted the ref. Gargano gets ready to attack Swann. LOW BLOW TO SOMBRA! HURTS DONUT! GARGANO GIVES THE FINGER TO CIBERNETICO, AND RIPS HIS SHIRT OFF TO REVEAL A NEWGEN SHIRT, GARGANO IS WITH NEWGEN! The crowd utterly explode and now Nakamura and the rest of The Antichrists are desperate to get in there as Gargano pulls Swann over to Newgen's corner and everyone tags in, and now it is on! The Antichrists for the first time looks rattled, they weren't expecting this and even Cibernetico can't keep up, Newgen looks like an unstoppable force! Gargano grabs Cibernetico, HURTS DONUT! He puts Matthews on top of Cibernetico, 1-2-3, KYLE MATTHEWS JUST PINNED THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!
Winners- Newgen
Newgen celebrate their win as Cibernetico and The Antichrists get out of there fast to regroup for their next plan of attack. But as Sanchez tries to shake Gargano's hand to welcome him back to Newgen, GARGANO GIVES HIM THE FINGER! He rips off his Newgen shirt then gets a microphone.
Gargano: "I'm not on your side Sanchez, do you really think I'd rejoin your group after all those things you said about me. You disrespected my faction The Revolution like it never achieved anything and demonised me in the process, yet you missed one thing out. I didn't kick you out of The Revolution, you left of your own choice because you believed you were above us, that you'd made it and didn't need us anymore. How wrong you found out you were, and had Hybrid Pro not saved your ass you'd be on the unemployment line where you belong. I don't need your help, but I proved tonight you can't beat The Antichrists without me. I'll be chasing The Antichrists until I take that Heavyweight belt away from them, and if you want to fight at my side then I can't stop you. But we are not cool Sanchez, and when I'm done with Cibernetico and his goon squad, I'm coming after you. Because I'm no longer doing whats best for you, whats best for business or what anyone else wants me to do, from here on I'm doing whats best for Johnny Gargano!"
Gargano leaves, but not before flicking the finger at Sanchez one more time. Newgen look on with mixed reaction as the show comes to an end.
