Austin Aries makes his way down the ramp, with a calendar in one hand and a mic in the other, as he looks to be a 100% business. Aries climbs into the ring and opens up the calendar to April with the 10th circled in red.
Aries: Do you see that at home? That's April 10th, 2012 and the last time I sat foot into a ring owned by NWA President Dustin Smith. That was before he got a brit fit and decided to fire off his entire roster save for CM Punk, Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson? Smith's pets, and bitches while I was left out in the cold on a whim, and what happened? Smith realized he couldn't make the numbers there that he did here and turned tail and came back here, while I'm barely getting television time in some other company! Barely getting booked doesn't put food on my table, and I've had to go hungry and just like an animal that just makes me vicious. Consider this an open challenge to anyone in the back, Smith you fucked up by dropping me but now I'm back and I'm going to take every champion you have out! I am the greatest man that ever lived for a reason!
SINGLES MATCH
"The Greatest Man that Ever Lived" Austin Aries def. "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson
The crowd went absolutely nuts stomping and cheering as a fog rolled up the curtain only to have Danielson burst through looking intense, not happy to be called anyones bitch. Aries was all over Danielson when he tried to get into the ring not even letting Danielson get his jacket off, whipping AmDrag by it and sending him slamming shoulder first in between the turnbuckles ramming his shoulder into the cold and unforgiving steel post! Danielson wasn't quite prepared for this level of ferocity from Aries, sliding out of the ring to take his ring jacket off and nurse his shoulder a little. AmDrag took his eye off Aries a second to long and Aries made him pay with a suicide dive through the ropes sending Dragon crashing into the safety railing hard. Aries continued the assault peppering Danielson with punches until the ref started to get closer to counting them out, pulling Danielson back into the ring. Danielson was able to takedown Aries with a double leg and from there started to work the joints and really ply his craft for the first time in this match. Danielson looked pissed as he slapped on a vicious sleeper hold variation with blood running from his lip from the exchange on the outside. Aries was able to eventually fight free getting to his feet and scoring with some elbows to the midsection to free himself and hit off the ropes coming back in with a huge rolling elbow attempt but Danielson ducks and sends Aries crashing to the mat with a huge belly to back suplex that almost looked like a driver. As soon as Aries was able to sit up Danielson hit rapid fire kicks to the chest of Aries lighting up his chest as the American Dragon looked to be rolling offensively. Danielson had the match in his control as he followed up with chops leading into a variety of suplexes that had Aries bouncing around on the canvas in pain. Danielson tried to whip Aries into the corner but Aries would backflip out of the corner evading Danielson and then bated in Danielson to the opposite corner hitting a leaping back elbow followed up by his pendulum elbow drop for a near fall. The crowd was chanting "This is Awesome!" for the opening contest as this match had both men getting wobbly to their feet and exchanging hands in the middle of the ring until Danielson would pick up and give Aries an airplane spin but Aries was able to slide free and hit a leaping kick to the back of the American Dragons head, and tried for the brainbuster but Danielson would slide out and hit a brutal looking regal plex. Somehow Aries was able to kick out but you could tell he was in a bit of a bad way as Danielson tried to finish the match with elbow strikes to the head of Aries but Austin was able to get his foot on the rope forcing the ref to pull Danielson off, while the ref had Danielson around the waist Austin went for a springboard moonsault with Danielson having to take the brunt of the moonsault. The ref looked shocked that he helped Aries who smirked before slapping on the last chancery in the middle of the ring forcing Danielson to submit.
Finally we cut to "The Voice of East Coast" Joey Styles along side Sir William Regal, and what an opening contest that was between "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson and returning Austin Aries. Tonight is the first show after Summer Series and what a show it was. CM Punk, Jon Moxley and the Rockstars of Wrestling were all able to keep their respective titles. Well sort of as Crime Time made their debut stealing the NWA World tag team titles while the Rockstars of Wrestling were defending them against the Renegades with Funk. The Rockstars will be on the program next week to confront Crime Time. Jon Moxley's reign of terror continues as Dustin Smiths hired gun, Ken Anderson didn't get the job done. Tonight however the newly crowned NWA Junior champion, Johnny Gargano will face off against Khan Kussion, also the women of NWA East Coast will compete in a battle royal with the winner going onto face Nattie Neidhart at Declaration of War for the NWA Worlds Womens title!
SINGLES MATCH
"The Dominant Male" Tommaso Ciampa def. "MAGNUM" Joey Ryan
Ciampa looked to make his debut here in NWA East Coast, against a very accomplished Joey Ryan. The match was extremely one sided with Ciampa bull rushing Ryan from the beginning blasting him with brutal knee's, Joey Ryan tried to fight back but ate another knee from Ciampa before getting hit with a brual project ciampa ending the match in less than six minutes.
TAG TEAM MATCH
The Batiri(Kodama & Obariyon) def. SoCal Speed(Kaz & TJ Perkins) w/ Elwood Gately
These two teams have faced off before but with a recent influx of tag teams, they're looking to make an impact to keep themselves ahead of the pack. The match was pretty back and forth with SoCal Speed starting to take advantage when "The King of Old School" Steve Corino comes out making his way to ring side throwing Perkins and Kaz off their game as Elwood Gately ends up getting into the face of Corino demanding an explination of what he's doing out here. The Batiri used the distraction to their advantage, but TJ tried his best to come back and went to hit off the ropes only to get tripped up by Corino allowing for Kodama to hit a roundhouse kick to the temple of Perkins dropping him like a sack of potatos, giving the Batiri the victory as Corino smuggly walked away.
The show cuts to the locker room of CM Punk who has Eli Cottonwood standing behind him, holding up the title for Punk as Steve paces in the background fighting with his ipad trying to get Punk's future dates in order.
CM Punk: Sheamus, Alberto del Rio, Bobby Fish, Daniel Puder, Bryan Danielson the list goes on and on of guys who've stepped into the ring with me and have failed at taking the NWA World Heavyweight title from me. Everyone was so excited to see me take this title from Sheamus because everyone of those stupid internet marks eat up every thing I say and do. They get on their twitters and message boards and talk about how great I am, and then I aligned myself with Don Callis, remember him? Since then I've been hated and disrespected, but love me or hate me I've come away every night on top still your NWA World Heavyweight champion because I am the absolute best in the world. There isn't a man in the entire alliance that's been able to stop my prolific reign so I'm going to throw out an open challenge to anyone anywhere to come to NWA East Coast and find out what it's like to step into the ring with someone who can't be defeated. Come get your brush with greatness...
EIGHT WOMAN BATTLE ROYAL
Awesome Kong def. AJ Lee, Brooke Adams, Christina Von Eerie, Eve Torres, Katie Lea Burchill, Sara del Rey, and Serena Deeb
These women fought for a chance to challenge for the NWA Women's title at Declaration of War, ladies went flying out of the ring left and right until it came down to Sara del Rey and Awesome Kong. Sara was able to duck a spinning backfist from Kong and threw some strong kicks until Kong caught the leg of del rey, picking up Sara and dumping her over the top rope. Setting up Awesome Kong vs. Nattie Neidhart for the womens title!
NWA WORLD JUNIOR WEIGHT TITLE MATCH
Johnny Gargano(c) def. "The Modern Day Barbarian" Kussion
Kussion won a brutal match against the insane Danny Havoc at Summer Series, earning him a shot tonight at the newly crowned NWA Junior champion, Johnny Gargano. Kussion came to the ring with a chair that he tried to hit Gargano with off the bat but the ref was able to pull the title away from Kussion, giving Gargano the opening to tackle the challenger and slap on a headlock. Kussion and Gargano rolled around on the mat a bit trying to gain control going counter for counter with Kussion dropkicking the knee of Gargano as they almost got to a vertical base with Kussion following up with leg drop after leg drop in a gruesome fashion forcing Gargano to scurry away from the repeated attack. Kussion tried to rush the champ again only to eat a forearm, followed by another and another as Gargano started to rally back. Gargano snapped off a spinning back kick followed up by an ace crusher for a long two count. Gargano looked shocked telling the ref he thought it was three, trying to pull Kussion to his feet to inflict more punishment, but Kussion was able to fight back and come off with the ropes with a springboard spin kick followed by a lionsault for a two count of his own. Kussion wanted to end this going after his chair but Gargano was able to hit a baseball slide dropkick into the chair while Kussion was still on the outside sending the challenger crashing into the security railing. Gargano would whip Kussion over and over into the railing violently as the fans had to brace for the impacts or get hit with the rail themselves. Gargano was able to snap off diced bread in the ring but still couldn't put Kussion away, both men looked weary after this war and Kussion tried to fight back again but ended up on the recieving end of a hurts donut finally allowing Gargano to retain the championship.
The celebration was short lived as NWA East Coast X champion, Paul London came out onto the ramp smirking arrogantly.
London: Congradulations Gargano you beat Khan Kussion, but you didn't beat me. That's because if we wrestled you wouldn't. I'm the interstellar, intrepid traveller and the greatest X division champion ever to step in the East Coast ring. In fact I'm so great that at Declaration of War I'll put my X division title up against your NWA World title, if you've got the guts?
