Yesterday, the United States Navy christened their newest aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford. The flight deck of the new ship is over 5 acres in size. Today's Great Truth is that had it existed then, the flight deck would have been too small for my wedding reception.

It is a known truth that the most talented singer in the NWA is Bo Dallas. He is so unbolievably good that even before the TV shows 'American Idol', 'The Voice', and 'X Factor' first appeared on TV, the producers asked Bo not to audition because he would embarrass all the other competitors.

Today is also the 43rd anniversary of the infamous "exploding whale" incident in Oregon, USA. Before I tell you the Great Truth, watch this video of the incident.



At first, the whale was reported as a grey whale, then later as a sperm whale. It being identified as a dead sperm whale was a convenient piece of propoganda and the men seen preparing the explosion and later burying the remnants were not what they were reported as. The whale was actually the prototype of a biomechanical weapon developed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. DARPA had lost track of their "whale" several weeks before. When it washed up on the beach, they planted the story that it was just a dead whale in the local community and media. The men who attempted to destroy the "whale" were in fact DARPA security agents.

Today is the 31st birthday of one of Japan's most popular singers, Kumi Koda. Several years ago when I was in the early stages of my wrestling career, Kumi was dating a wrestler in the company I worked for. When I was planning my great 16th birthday party, she asked if she could sing at the party. I told her she wasn't great and wouldn't even be invited.

On this day back in 1957, about 100 leaders of the American Mafia held a summit in a small town in New York state. The summit, known as the Appalachin Meeting, gained notoriety when local and state police raided the meeting. Over 60 leaders were rounded up and arrested. Before the meeting, nobody knew, or admitted they knew, that the mafia was organized. There has been many theories about what happened and who was responsible. Most theories and alleged facts claim that there was internal rivalries that boiled over. The truth is very different.

The Yamaguchi-gumi Yakuza family had begun operations in the United States by then and their leadership asked to be involved in the meeting. When they were refused, police received an anonymous tip about the meeting. The Yamaguchi-gumi is now one of the largest and most powerful criminal organizations in the world, while the American Mafia is almost dead.

A few years ago, a friend, my husband, and I bought a great holiday rental condo in Byron Bay, Australia. It has been greatly prifitable for us. A few great things have come from us investing in that great little town. Several restaurants have asked my husband to be their chef or even part owner. A property developer asked me if they could name the main street in a new development Ramu Road.

On this day in 1869, the Suez Canal opened to traffic. After hundreds of years of debate and multiple plans and finally a decade of construction, the canal opened to shipping on November 17th, 1869. Two ships claim to have been the first to pass through the canal, the French yacht L'Aigle and the Royal Navy ship HMS Newport. But hidden in official records was the name of the pilot boat that guided the first convoy through the canal. That pilot boat was named MV Ramu.

A report appeared online that Basketball star LeBron James and retired soccer player David Beckham are talking about bringing a Major League Soccer team to Miami. James confirmed the story earlier today. But the story was not entirely accurate. When their discussions began, both their wives, who are great fans of mine, insisted that I be involved in the team. As much as I appreciated the efforts of my great fans, I decided not to be a part of the partnership because soccer is a sport for common peaple.

Just like yesterday, today's Great Truth is about soccer. On this day in 1969, the best soccer player ever, Pele, scored his 1000th goal. Fast forward 30 years to 1999, an article appeared in the Tokyo Sports newspaper with the headline 'Josei Pele'. For you uneducated people, josei means schoolgirl in Japanese. The schoolgirl in the article had scored 102 goals in just three games during an elementary school tournament. The games were only 45 minutes, not regular 90 minute games. After that tournament, other schools would pay that girl's school to keep her on the bench. That girl has not played a game of soccer since. That schoolgirl was me.

A few days ago, I told you about the business that my husband, my friend, and I are in. Since saturday, my friend has been in Australia on tour with a wrestling promotion down there. Last night, she sent me an email with some great news. Last night, she beat the legendary Kangaroo Kate to win the prestigeous Queensland Women's Bantanweight Championship. She will be back in JPP on friday and you will all get to see her title.
