"Windy City On Tour" TV Show #2 (Magazine Round-Up Show)
~Aired Sunday 14th September
Host: Rene Young Expert Pundits: Kevin Nash & Roddy Piper
Air Length: 30 Minutes
The second weekly pre-taped episode of NWA Windy City's new magazine style televsion show aired with a new host, the lovely Rene Young, alongside the veteran pundits Kevin Nash and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.
The show starts up with Rene informing us about a match that happened on the Prairie du Chien stop, as John Cena took on Shane Hollister in a fresh, first ever match between the two. Nash mentions that Shane Hollister recently pinned John Cena in a six-man tag match so this match is to see what happens in singles action. Piper meanwhile says that win was somewhat due to the actions of Bully Ray and Daniel Puder, so John Cena will have to keep one eye open for that villianous pair as well as deal with the impressive Shane Hollister.
Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin (08/09/14) 1. John Cena def. Shane Hollister by DQ ~Cena took on the man who pinned him in the 6-man tag on the last live event after an attack by Bully Ray, and the match which was shaping up to be a competitive barn burner was once again interrupted, this time by both Bully Ray and Daniel Puder who jumped Cena for the obvious DQ. The crowd actually cheered the heels here some as the Chicago anti-Cena hate is well known, but Cena made a spirited comeback in a 2 on 1 hard hitting brawl that actually lasted a few minutes and managed to fight off the bad guys for a moment so he could escape the ring, Cena then grabbed a chair and threatened the heels wanting to fight which actually rose some slight cheers from the anti-Cena crowd. *3 minutes of TV Time dedicated to this match and segment
Back to the studio and Nash says he's impressed by Cena's fighting spirit here, it seems like he's no thrills, no cheese, and is just ready and wanting to fight. Rene Young add's that we will see Cena again in the shows main-event as takes on Bully Ray! But right now Rene Young says that next up is a match between two young contenders looking to make moves in NWA Windy City as Jimmy Jacobs takes on Bo Dallas!
Latteville, Wisconsin (09/09/14) 2. Jimmy Jacobs def. Bo Dallas with a Spear *After the match Jacobs challenged Bray Wyatt to a Cyber TV Championship Match, but Wyatt came out with Luke Harper by his side and said that Jacobs might have gotten past Bo Dallas tonight but he doesn't deserve any title shots, never mind a shot at his title. Wyatt told Jacobs to prove himself by taking on Luke Harper first! Jacobs accepted and the match will take place later on in the Chicagoland tour. *3 Minutes of TV Time for the match and segment
~~Commercial Break 5 Mins~~
Back from commercials and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper says he can't wait for the next match as the Mexican sensation Mistico makes his debut against the Kung-Fu master Louis Lyndon!
Latteville, Wisconsin (09/09/14) 3. Mistico def. Louis Lyndon in a 10 minute match following the La MÃstica (Tilt-a-whirl headscissors transitioned into a single arm DDT floated over into a Fujiwara armbar)in what was a showcase match for the debuting Mistico. *5 Minutes of the match is shown, as most of the match is aired to showcase Mistico. Some minor botches from Mistico was edited out of the TV broadcast.
We go straight into the next match with no break;
Latteville, Wisconsin (09/09/14) 4. Mark Jindrak (NWA North American Champion) def. Kris Travis to retain the title after interference from Jack Swagger cost Travis a good chance at the NA Title. *3 Mins of TV Time*
Latteville, Wisconsin (09/09/14) 5. Bully Ray w/Daniel Puder def. John Cena by countout when Puder latched on a Keylock on Cena on the outside to cause him to be counted out. After the match with Bully Ray and Puder both in the ring laughing at Cena, Cena grabbed a chair from ringside and slid into the ring going absolutely mental. Cena blasted Puder with the chair square on the head and almost did the same to Bully Ray but he grabbed the ropes and slid out of the ring, before pulling Puder to safety to save him from the super angry Cena. *7 Mins of TV Time
The show ends with a recap from Rene Young, Nash and Piper and a look forward to the rest of the live events on the Chicagoland tour, we are told to get your tickets now to attend Windy City in person!

The third weekly pre-taped episode of NWA Windy City's new magazine style televsion show kicks off with the usual crew of Rene Young, alongside the veteran legendary wrestling pundits Roddy Piper and Big Daddy Cool, Kevin Nash.
Elgin, Illinois (10/09/14) 1. Sean Waltman def. Carlito with the X-Factor in a strong performance from Waltman. Waltman told the crowd that he's learned from his defeats to Daniel Bryan and wants to face him again, but this time for the NWA World Jnr Heavyweight Title! But Waltman said he doesn't want the title match just yet, but he does want Bryan in a match or should he say matches. Waltman said he's not going to give up and will face Waltman every day on this tour if he can do as time is precious and that's one thing he no longer has! But when the time is right he will have earned and have demanded a title shot from Daniel Bryan! *2 Mins of TV Time is shown for this match/segment
In the studio Rene Young tells us that Daniel Bryan would not have long to wait before he would have to face off against Sean Waltman again as they met in Joliet, Illinois and this fantastic match will be shown in tonight's main-event. Nash says he likes Waltman's determination while Piper just alluded to Waltman being nothing more than a stalker. Rene Young says up next is John Cena taking on NWA Windy City legend and former Champion "The Only Star" Daniel Puder.
Joliet, Illinois (13/09/14) 2. John Cena def. "The Only Star" Daniel Puder w/Bully Ray via the FU in what was a great action packed 15 minute+ main-event battle. Bully Ray got the last laugh though as he blasted Cena full on in the face with a steel chair after the pinfall. *This match was given 5 minutes TV Time as John Cena gets a big TV win over WCPW stalwart Daniel Puder!
Young, Nash and Piper discuss the Cena and Bully Ray situation, but Piper says to not forget one Kevin Steen. As Balls of Steel, Kevin Steen is due to take on both Bully Ray and Puder in handicap action on Fight Night!
~~Commercial Break 5 Minutes~~
Joliet, Illinois (13/09/14) 3. Daniel Bryan - the NWA World Jnr Heavyweight Champion - beat Sean Waltman via the Yes Lock after a 25 minute battle that left both men exhausted. *This match is given a large TV time allowance of 15 minutes as what is a dream match for many long time wrestling fans get's realised but yet we are left with the feeling that there is more yet to offer from these two.
Nash says he would love to see these two on Pay-Per-View, be it in Windy City or on the big stage of the NWA - because not only would it be a great match but Sean Waltman just somehow keeps improving match after match, despite losing! Piper says he's not sure how this happening and Paul Heyman might have been right...Rene says what does he mean? But she is interrupted by producers who inform her time for the show is up so she says she'll leave that for another time and wraps up with another ticket advertisement for the Chicagoland tour informing fans to snap up the last few tickets that are on offer as well as to watch out for the Fight Night show on the 28th!

Good job of building to Fight Night. You have some great stuff going. Masters has looked good on these shows, rebounding from the loss to Samoa Joe at the end of August. Looking forward to his 1 on 1 match with Jindrak if that's still coming. Echo joe's sentiments on the women's match. Good to see it get a headlining spot, although a little surprised there was no follow up the rest of the tour, especially when some stops only had 3 matches and there was easily enough room to give them another look. Hopefully something goes down on the Fight Night with them, maybe the deserved title match. Mistico, Kingston, and Mysterio deserves mention too. While I still don't know that I buy a heel Mysterio, it has provided some good action on these shows. Hopefully you have something big planned to finally put the turn over the top.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with Cena as the referee. The handicapped match with Steen vs Bully Ray & Puder was severely lacking as you did the handicapped match 2 months ago and it felt like they were running in circles on this tour to get back to the exact same point in the feud they were already at, but this adds a new element to the match. Interested to see where you go as Steen is primed to break away to the next level with this feud finished, whether that be the title picture or a feud with Cena stemming from that match. Bully Ray though is not far off either from your booking and a win would help him greatly too, albeit not as much since it's a 2 on 1 win. Hard to lose with either outcome.
The Daniel Bryan vs Sean Waltman feud has been handled well up to this point too. What started as an 8 minute match, moved to 10, moved to 25, presumably Waltman coming closer each time. As you stated in the thread proposing it for Fall Brawl, I would certainly back that as it has by the far most momentum of any program with Bryan and the Junior Title right now. Interested to see what you have in mind as the end game. Or maybe a step before the end game as eventually it would seem Waltman, the veteran, is going to catch up to him in some way. He has been the perfect opponent for this idea.
Looking forward to Fight Night.

Windy City TV: Fight Night (28/09/14) - episode #30
Where: Hebron, Indiana When: Sunday 28th September, 2014 Attendance: 1,324
NWA Windy City made it's way back to Indiana with a big Fight Night show, with FN hitting Indiana for the second time in a row as the group continues to make headway in the region. Windy City completed it's live event tour of Chicagoland tonight with this show, a month long tour which comprised of 10 shows in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. The matches on tonight's show had been built up on local weekly TV (Windy City on Tour TV!) from selective matches that took place on the tour, was taped and aired on local tele - the crowd was red hot for the stacked show and we got underway with Rene Young and Paul Heyman at the commentary booth.
But before we can get our teeth into a matchup, out striding with a purpose down to the ring is Kofi Kingston. Kofi demands that his friend, Rey Mysterio come on out and down to the ring so that he can have it out with him once and for all.
Mysterio enters to a slowed down version of his entrance music and saunters down to the ring with a touch of arrogance. Mysterio goes to offer a fan at ringside a mask but instead snatches it back and mocks the young child briefly. Rey gets into the ring nonchelantly and Kofi doesn't watse any time. He walks right up to Rey, get's in his face and demands to know why Mysterio has singled him out?
Mysterio tells Kofi to back off and pauses for a while before he says he believes it's time that the truth is told and the fans won't like to hear what he has to say. He expands that he's sick of being overlooked by younger, flashy newcommers like Kofi, friend or no friend...and he's sick to his back teeth of being, in essence, a slave to the fans.
*Heavy boos*
Rey says they can boo all they want, they can turn their backs on him if they want, but the truth is he's turned his back on the fans explaining that he never, ever, really cared about them - he only really cared about the money they made him by buying his silly little merchandise, the truth be told!
Gone are the days he will be at the beck and call of the fans suffering injury after injury and breaking down his body being in constant pain, just for adoration of the fans, just for cheers. Well cheers soon die, but Rey has decided that he won't do - No more flashy moves! No signature spots! No 619!!!....and if the fans don't like it they can vete a la chingada!!!
*The Indiana fans are hating on Rey, they don't know what he just said, but they for sure know it wasn't nice or complentary!*
Kofi speaks up after listening in shock to what Rey had to say - and tells his friend if your taking away everything the fans like about you, what about the Mask? Fans love the mask!?
Rey says his mask is his life, it's sacred, and the fans may have taken his health but they certainly won't take his mask! Rey is getting angry and heated up at what Kofi said and says he wants Kofi to try though, try to take it off him, ojete! Hair vs Mask.
Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio are squaring up, both are jaw yacking each other and Mysterio is shouting at Kofi calling him all the names under the sun in spannish when Kofi pushes Rey in the chest and he goes down taking a bump, but Kofi is attacked from behind by a large man who slid into the ring and clubbered him down in the back of the head. It's DOC GALLOWS! Gallows put's the boot's to Kingston and still lying on his back Rey Mysterio is directing the traffic and screaming at Gallows to put more boots to his former pal. Mysterio gets to his feet and stands over Kofi and calls off Gallows. Mysterio grabs a handful of Kingston's dreadlocks, yanking his hair and pausing for effect. With a handful of hair still, and with the same hand Mysterio roughly slams his fist into Kingston's skull and leaves with Gallows following behind him.
1. KENTA def. Crash Test Dummy w/Rockstar Spud with the GTS in his debut match. KENTA'S debut was hyped in the weeks prior and he didn't disapoint thrilling the fans with a hard hitting, strong style as he dispatched Crash Test Dummy without any trouble. Spud attacked KENTA after the fall but he was taken out with an elbow, following by a running face kick.
*The camera's scan the crowd as we prepare for the next matchup, some famous faces are seen. Few minor D-list celebs and then Ken Shamrock is shown on the front row, Young informs us that Shamrock has been acting as Windy City trainer for the last few weeks.
2. NWA Windy City Cyber TV Title Match Bray Wyatt w/The Wyatt Family drew with Jimmy Jacobs after the 10 minute time-limit expired to retain the Cyber TV Title.
Jacobs who had beaten Wyatt Family members Bo Dallas and Luke Harper recently, had a lot of momentum coming in against Bray tonight and he really took it to the champion coming close to become the new champion on several occassions. Bray Wyatt had to resort to dirty tricks and cheating tactics to keep Jimmy at bay, and had the Wyatt Family come to his aid to save his skin here more than once. No winner could be declared within the Cyber-TV 10 minute time period and the match was announced as a draw. Bo Dallas and Luke Harper tried to attack Jimmy Jacobs as soon as the bell rang but Jacobs saw this coming and exited the ring sharpish - Jacobs pointed at Bray and then at his waist, doing the belt motion. This isn't over.
<<<COMMERCIALS>>>
*Sean Waltman comes out to the ring as we come back and says that he will never give up his quest of winning major NWA Gold, and that he has targeted the belt of Daniel Bryan, the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship. "The Kid" says that although Daniel Bryan has managed to keep one step ahead of him, he has dogged him all tour and he is getting more and more closer to dethroning him each time. Waltman says he's living good, eating well and he's stronger than ever, more and more each day and the day will indeed come when he will be too much for Daniel Bryan and he will claim what should be his before he retires, the World Junior Heavyweight Title.
Paul Heyman on coms again snorts when Waltman says he's getting stronger all the time. Rene Young asks what does he mean by this, keep bringing this up? Heyman says he's said this right from the begining when Waltman came to Windy City, that Sean is perhaps how do you say, on the power ranger juice! Rene says wow, that's a pretty ridiculous statement and he could be done for libel.
Right then, Chief of Staff Triple H comes out to the ring. Trips tells Heyman on coms to watch his mouth before going on to say that last month he demanded NOAM DAR to defend the NWA Windy City Zero Gravity Championship in a six-pac match over in Great Britan. Trips said he warned Noam that he wants the title defended and this did not happen!
Yes, the NWA UK promotion folded - but Trips said that Dar didn't exactly go out of his way to get bookings and defend the gold around the world. But next Fight Night he definately will because he will put the belt on the line against Sean Waltman, and we will see if Waltman is at championship calibre level and ready for Daniel Bryan!
3. Handicap Match with Special Referee John Cena Kevin Steen def. Bully Ray & Daniel Puder *With John Cena as Special Referee
In an explosive match, Kevin Steen took a huge step forward in his Windy City career as he took the win over the combined forces of Bully Ray and Daniel Puder here tonight. Steen was red-hot with the crowd and he was like a man posessed in this matchup.
Rene and Heyman announced that John Cena and Kevin Steen have both been selected to appear in a fatal four way #1 contendership match for Mark Jindrak's NWA North American Heavyweight Title at the NWA Unlimited Web Show, and tensions between the two which has been simmering recently reached new heights as the two clashed over the rules of the match and Cena's sloppy officiating skills as he often took his focus away from the match and onto his foe Bully Ray, which caused Steen to suffer more than once at the hands of the crafty Bully Ray and Daniel Puder.
The finish to the match was when Puder was on the outside fighting with Steen. Puder was taking some shots from Steen right infront of guest Ken Shamrock who was sat at ringside on the front row enjoying the action and was laughing at Puder and cheering for Steen. Puder managed to momentarily derail Puder, and snapped at Shamrock, shoving him in the chest. Well, Ken, is well known for easily seeing red and he shoved him right back hard in the chest. Puder went down and Steen quickly picked him up and rammed him head first into the steel post. With Bully Ray distracted by an unfocused John Cena, Puder wozzily wobbled back in the ring and Steen hit a swift side-winder suplex and made the cover. Cena regained his focus just enough to see the cover and made the count and Steen got the three count!
Bully Ray got hold of Puder and dragged him out of the ring and the two wobbled away to the back. Cena somewhat warily raised Steen's hand with the tension between the two men apparent. Steen pulled away his hand and Cena nodded and slowly backed away as we headed into commercials.
<<<COMMERCIALS>>>
We are back from the break and long-time Windy City champion Chris Masters is in the ring. Masters says that Mark Jindrak has let it be known that he will be in the corner of Jack Swagger tonight in the big Loser Leaves Town match tonight against Kris Travis, so he'll not allow a good kid like Kris Travis to go in with the odds stacked against him and has offered his help which was accepted by Kris, so Masters will be in the corner of Kris Travis tonight.
Masters switches tangents and say's he only deals in facts, and it's a fact that he's almost two years into his reign as Windy City Champion. Come Boxing Day of 2014, it will be two years since he beat Jon Anderson for the Championship back in 2012. Chris says it's been tough with alot of challenges along the way, but a two year reign is unheard of in his day and age. This makes him the best regional Heayweight Champion in the NWA by a long-shot. Heck, it might even mean more right now than any major singles gold in the NWA period, even if your names Mark Jindrak or Samoa Joe.
Chris says on the NWA Unlimited Web Show he has a number one contenders match against Ted DiBiase, with the winner earning the right to take on the World Champion Samoa Joe on NWA Pay-Per-View, Fall Brawl. This is a huge match but as he mentioned he only deals in facts, and the fact is he's better than Ted DiBiase and he think's he's proved that over the past couple of years. Master's might have come up short against Joe in a recent title shot on the regionals but that was in nobodys doubts caused by one Mark Jindrak. Jindrak will get what's coming to him, but the next time Masters get's to face off against Joe on the big stage, he won't be so lucky. But before all of that Masters tells Ted that he is no kidding a good wrestler, he cannot deny that, but he's not "The Masterpiece of the NWA" Chris Masters.
*Masters thanks the fans and does his big muscle poses and then the music of Jack Swagger hits and we get ready for the Loser Leaves Town Match.
4. Loser Leaves Town Match "Shooting Star" Kris Travis w/Chris Masters def. Jack Swagger w/Mark Jindrak after a Superkick into a chair to the head of Swagger to finally send Jack Swagger packing from Windy City Pro Wrestling.
This was a great match and was given a full twenty minutes in the co-main-event slot with Travis really showing that he has great potential to make it big here with the fans in Windy City.
Masters and Jindrak had some skirmshes throughout, but Masters stopped Swagger trying to nail Kris with a steel chair and Travis hit his Superkick causing the chair to fly into Swagger's face and Travis made the cover and got the biggest win of his career. Masters shook Travis's hand and then immediately left, leaving Travis to shine in the spotlight.
Travis then got on the mike and sung the "--na-na-na-naaaa-na----na-na-na-naaaa-na.....sayyyy goodbyeeee" to Swagger as he slowly and sulkily left the ring.
*Heyman brought up that the NWA exec's have also noticed the potential of Kris Travis because he has been lined up for a match on the NWA Unlimited Web Show against Byron Wilcott! Which of these two will make the step up??
<<<COMMERCIALS>>>
6. MAIN-EVENT: Steel Cage Match for the NWA Windy City Womens Championship
Paige [c] vs. April Davids
Womens wrestling was put in the spotlight as the ladies was given the main-event slot but they deserved it as their feud has been nothing short of heated. April David's came out wearing a head bandage selling the head injury caused by the despicable Paige tossing her head first into the steel post after she had lost a non-title match to her earlier on the tour.
Paige and David's wrestled a brilliant match here. David's was a great face getting good reactions and hitting strong suplexes, lariats and slams while Paige was her brilliant heel best as he played the chicken-shit cowardly heel to perfection trying to find everyway possible out of the match but she was constanly stopped and pulled down off the steel cage by David's. Paige began to work the head of April, and somehow had smuggled into the match a screwdriver from down her tights and used the sharp end to open up the fresh wound on David's forhead causing blood to cover April's face like a crimson mask. The blood loss seamed to weaken David's and it looked like Paige was going to somehow, get away with it again and walk out the Womens Champion but David spurred on by the fans dug deep and both ladies decided to make a dash for it at the same time. Paige went for the door, and April went for scaling the cage. The blood loss had slowed her down and it looked like Paige would make it out first but the champion had to wait for the referee to un-bolt the door and April sensing she was moving too slow decided to almost throw herself from the top of the cage as she dropped from the top of the cage to the floor, hitting it hard going all out for the win putting her body at risk.
David's body hit the floor with a loud thump as Paige just narrowly scampered out of the cage door. We have a new NWA Windy City Women s Champion in April Davids! Paige's 2 year and 3 month reign of terror over the women's division is over! But at what cost? April David's is still out cold as medics are attending to her. Paige can't believe it goes to attack David's but she is pushed off by a slew of medics and she leaves pulling a hissyfit all the way to the back. The medics treat David's for a full couple of minutes, until eventually, she shoves them away, and staggers somehow to her feet to a roar from the crowd. Full of her own blood and in seriously bad shape she is presented with the championship belt and she raises it above her head triumphantly to a huge ovation! Wow, what a night! See you on the next months live event tour folks!
Winner in 16:09 and NEW NWA Windy City Women's Champion: April David's

Good close to the tour. I like the Kofi vs Mysterio feud, but am still a bit lost on the psychology to it. Mysterio seems obsessed over his own mask being put on the line more than having any reason to have an interest in Kofi's hair or Kofi showing much of an interest in taking the mask. Maybe more is to come, it just feels backwards that the gimmick match has been pushed and then the build to it has come afterward. Adding Gallows was a great move for heat as it lets Mysterio be more of a chicken shit type little man while the big guy does his dirty work. That should help Rey to develop more of a heel persona that would get him over and the fans booing him. He's hard to take seriously as a heel solo when most fans could kick his ass, but adding Gallows lets him mouth off while now that feeling wouldn't be there because most fans would get killed by Gallows.
Interested to see where that Heyman comment on Waltman goes. Seems way too specific and attention grabbing to not just be an off the cuff remark in the writing vs a planned remark as a seed for something. Waltman came a long way pretty fast here with 3 shots and progressing in a hurry, so I'm interested to see what you have in store to take this to Starrcade now and go another 3-4 months after throwing out so much here on this tour. He elevated himself to 25 minutes in a few weeks, guess there will be some sort of stumbling block to kill time, ie where the Heyman stuff comes in.
Convincing argument made by Masters. You have a done a good job building him in writing, certainly better than the skills the real man ever possessed to be a top baby face on a national level. Assuming he gets through DiBiase, could give Samoa Joe a run for his money. I remember their days in UPW back in 2002-2003. Not sure if I ever saw them wrestle or work a feud though.
Great main event. This is 1 of the better women's feuds I have seen done in fantasy wrestling, certainly in terms of the matches being delivered and the space devoted to description.
Also unrelated to this, just trying to get a sense of "Gaydar" since my team is working them. I noticed you have Rene Dupree listed as Dick Ryder, so I assume he is that wrestler. But also noticed you only picked up Dupree after a run joe had with him in Liberty Pro and were not booking Dupree as a FA while he was on that roster, but Ryder had been appearing on your shows during that time. Is the team masked, or was the Ryder gimmick being openly portrayed by somebody else in that time?

Thanks for the feedback JP.
Kofi is a reluctant party to this feud, as he was a friend of Rey's in the past in other organisations with occassional tagging and stuff. Rey though has lost the plot a bit. In the story, he's badly worn down with many constant nagging injuries, ever present pain and all that jazz. Meanwhile he's seen a slew of new talent brought in to Windy City and elevated over him - Rey hasn't had a serious shot at the Heavyweight Title yet, or any title come to that. A heel needs a good reason for his motives and he's just sick to death, of being sick to death. He's venting at the fans and decided that they are the cause of his recent deteroriation in standing and health. He looks at Kofi and see's someone flashy, someone who will do anything for the fans and he hates it because he see's younger himself.
Rey has decided to strip away everything the fans like about him, but he will keep the mask because that's his tradition and nobody is taking that away from him he'd rather die. But he's sick of being overlooked and is in a little bit of denial about his perhaps diminishing skills and is determined to prove himself, without the fans being anything to do with it. One way to do this, put on the line the one thing that he can't live without - his mask. With the secondary objective of and giving stuff away a bit of the story arc here, but the aim of trying to show Kofi the 'errors of his ways' and maybe tough love, with his intended taking away of his hair the end goal.
Hope that explains the Rey and Kofi story somewhat.

Re: Waltman story
It wasn't an off the cuff remark and was definately planned. If you check back through my past shows, things similar to what Heyman has been saying has been hinted at previously (And by Heyman himself). Just this time it was more apparent. This story will be expanded on and has enough to reach Starcade.
