NWA Windy City Presents "Uncensored"

Sunday 26th April 2015

Last year NWA Windy City held Uncensored in April of 2014, it featured Harry Smith retaining the NWA North American Championship over Mark Jindrak setting the seeds for a long feud over the title; Bully Ray defeating CM Punk in action from NWA South Beach; Noam Dar beating Evan Bourne and American Kickboxer 2 to win the ZG Title ending AK2's long reign; And Chris Masters downing Daniel Puder in the main-event to retain the NWA Windy City Heavyweight Title.

This year the show will be held at the United Center, in Chicago, IL and this time it has been given the sanction of being an NWA wide Pay-Per-View.

31/03: The Uncensored super-show card was today updated when it was announced that Personal Demons and Chris Jericho from NWA Maximum would be settling their issues live on NWA pay per view, with the caveat being that the 7 times NWA World Champion Chris Jericho must retire should he lose the match to the man formerly known as Jeff Hardy, Personal Demons.

31/03: John Cena let it be known that he issued an open challenge to anyone in the NWA in an effort to finally earn respect from the Chicago masses who have definitely not taken him to their heart despite his never say die attitude - as displayed at StarCade against Bully Ray - and willingness to be a man of the people despite what the people think of him, or say of him. That challenge was issued to anybody in the NWA, be it a former foe like Bully Ray, a former champion like Mark Jindrak, a rising star like a Rudy Switchblade or a Cedric Alexander, but the man who answered it before any other, was none other than the current NWA Mid-Atlantic United States Heavyweight Champion Brian Cage!

Cage the US Champion of Mid-Atlantic will thus face Cena the NWA North American Heavyweight Champion in a true battle of the champions of the Americas.

Uncensored is 16 days away now, voting on all NWA Title matches will be from the 17th to 22nd, writing from 23rd to 26th, so let me know what matches you'd like to write.

11/04: Big news in the NWA Maximum match as the legendary Shane Helms has been announced as the guest referee in the Personal Demons/Chris Jericho match with the caveat being he will be forced into retirement himself if found to be biased.

16/04: After Adrian Neville turned on Daniel Bryan on the last episode of Saturday Night Live, Bryan's opponent for Uncensored has been announced as the Paul Heyman led, Adrian Neville!

16/04 With the semi-finals of the #1 Contenders Tag Tourney now set, the final at Uncensored will be between;

16/04: Also signed to Uncensored, is an inter-promotional matchup between Fin Balor of Windy City Pro Wrestling and Kota Ibushi of Japanese grapple group, NWA Union Pro.

Ibushi who has been making headlines in Japan, made his stateside debut recently surprising Fin Balor by defeating him. In the rematch this past SNL, Balor evened the score with a victory over Ibushi - however Balor's victory was marred by an interference from his partner Sheamus - so a 3rd rubber match has been signed and sealed and the very best from the orient will meet the very best from Chicago in what will perhaps be the show stealer of the night!

16/04: Luke Harper of The Family group led by Jay Briscoe, had been stalking Serena Deeb for months before he finally abducted her with the help of Mark Briscoe. Sami Zayn took exception to this treatment and crinimal act by The Family and has set himself a crusade to bring Serena back from the evil clutches of Luke Harper & The Family.

It has been announced that Zayn will be presented with a video compiled by Harper and Deeb this very coming Saturday, at SNL, before he will have to face Mark Briscoe one-on-one. However, the big match is at Uncensored as the match has been signed Luke Harper against Sami Zayn, with the wellbeing of Serena Deeb being on the line!
